This experience was horrible. I had used Viator in London 8 years ago, not great, but decided to give them another chance in Marrakech 10 days ago. It was a great experience, so booked the Carnivore lunch trip in Nairobi. BIG MISTAKE. I was finally picked up a hour late, after phoning to find out where the driver was. I had already emailed earlier in the morning to confirm pick up time, no response. They couldn’t have cared less that I had to wait, with no communication. Arrived at restaurant & they had no reservation for me, not under my name, Viator or Safarilinks, they sat me anyway. I asked the driver to return at 3:00pm, which he did. Absolutely shocking, considering how over priced this was, lunch was not included in the “taxi service”. The correct action would have been a full refund to keep my business. Never again Viator.

This “experience” is entirely dependent on the driver picking you up and bringing you back from the restaurant. My driver never showed up and then lied about being outside. I did many tours during my trip and this was the only one where the driver didn’t show. To make matters worse, the company refused to refund me and lied, which Viator was able to confirm by the time stamps on my messages. Now I have to dispute it with my credit card company. Very untrustworthy company. You are better off booking a taxi and going to Carnivore on your own time.

I have never written a bad review on viator but this one deserves it. Don't waste your money booking this tour. Take an uber to the restaurant and save a bundle of money. When our driver/guide picked us up he said that I hope you have $25 for the dinner because it's not included. When we got to the restaurant they charged us the full price of $38. Do this on your own. I cant believe viator would allow a "tour" that doesn't include anything but a very expensive ride to a restaurant. And by the way, the description stated dinner included.

Thank you for your comments but I guess if the driver had told you at the onset of the tour at pick up that the dinner is inclusive of what you had paid for. The tour description is clear. Again your colleagues said they knew it was not inclusive. The price you paid for the transport is 25$ two way with 2 hours wait. How could that include dinner ?
