Best Daytrip Safari. Best driver guide!

What an epic and perfect day. Jerry was the best you could ask for. Part expert NASCAR driver. Part tour guide so knowledgeable about Amboseli and part comedian making the day fun. Dozens of elephants, hundreds of zebras, gazelles, beautiful birds and at the very end HIPPOS!!! Lunch at Ol Tukai lodge was the best we’ve had on our trip. I wish we’d thought about staying the night. Driving the road from Nairobi to Mombasa is not for the faint of heart so you better have an expert driver like Jerry. Bring some snacks, the best camera you can, and your energy. Fantastic day!

Exciting, Majestic, and Worth the Drive

I took a day trip to Amboseli. It was one of the best days I spent while in Kenya. Samuel the tour guide was very knowledgeable of the park and animals. He also navigated the Kenyan roads and traffic with ease. I would definitely go again.

Amazing Amboseli tour!

We had amazing tour with our guide and driver James. It was a long day from Nairobi but completely worth it to see Mount Kilimanjaro and all the animals. James was excellent at spotting all the animals in the park and we had wild elephants cross the road right in front of our call! I would definitely suggest this trip for anyone who wants to do a day trip safari.

Amazing tour

James was a great guide. He’s knowledgeable and he cared about my experience. Also, I was the only one in the tour so I was able to have a private experience. In the park I saw plenty of elephants , zebras, impala, and other animales. The Kilimanjaro was fully visible. It is a bit far from Nairobi but I would 100-% recommend this experience

An excellent, worthwhile tour

This was a simple but well done trip. Transportation was door to door from my hotel and Albert was an excellent guide. He had much to share about life in Kenya overall, and was an expert in navigating the park Amd ensuring we maximized our opportunities that day. We were fortunate to see many big families of elephants, plenty of gazelles and flamingos, and quite a few wildebeest, hippos, and water buffalo. We also saw a small pride of lions organizing for a hunt…. and a few of the cubs hung out in the shade of the jeeps to cool off. To top it off Mt Kili was visible the whole day; what a bonus! Lunch is well organized and a nice part of the trip. Good food and plenty of it in the gorgeous on-site lodge. Keep it mind it’s 3 hours+ plus each way from/to Nairobi and you’ll spend 4-5 hours in the park. Well worth the 5am departure to catch herds on their way back into the park. A great tour!

Safari close to Nairobi

This park is all about elephants. The herd was massive and very healthy. Our driver and guide named Black Santa was a very safe driver and so knowledgeable regarding the park and animal inhabitants. He did a great job for us.

Diverse wildlife experience with backdrop of highest mountain

Incredible experience with Sam, who went out of his way to showcase all animals including various bird species. The highlight of the trip was the view of Mt Kilimanjaro with acacia trees and elephants, giraffes and other animals. We also had a satisfying lunch at the Otkulai Lodge with meadow views. Amboselli is a must do and unforgettable experience for Kenya

No tour guide - not satisfied

There is no guide, just the driver who is on the phone most of time. The trip is ok. The driver is good but he is merely a driver not a real guide. Not satisfied

Excellent excursion

This was a long day to and from Nairobi but sooo many elephants made it worth it! Lunch at the lodge watching zebras and elephants pass by was unbelievable. Our driver and guide Samuel was outstanding. Worth it to go see Kilimanjaro and all the wildlife.

Amazing safari!

We used Perfect Safaris for a trip to Amboseli National Park and had an amazing time! Our guide Samuel was wonderful and so full of information about the different animals and the area. He was able to get us very close to so many different animals! This was our first safari on our trip to Africa and definitely the best. Our only regret was it was too cloudy to see the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro, but there’s nothing you can do about the weather! This was a great tour and Samuel took good care of us!

Anthony, Amboseli and Animals galore!

Anthony our guide was very accommodating and eager from the get go on what was a long drive there and back from Nairobi to Amboseli and he was diligent and informative throughout the experience! He had many answers to all our questions on the wildlife as well as some exciting tales of previous tour experiences! He managed to find us many Elephants and a few Hippos in particular among other such wildlife. The drive there and back was comfortable and he allowed us to stop for pictures by Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. The included food at the Amboseli restaurant was lovely too and Anthony was very patient in waiting for us while we indulged in our food! Thank you Anthony!

Amazing animals at Amboseli! Well worth the trip.

We had a wonderful day trip to Amboseli! Our driver, Thomas, picked us up promptly at 5:00 a.m. and we returned to Nairobi around 7:30 p.m. We saw lions, elephants, zebras, buffalo, hippo, warthog, wildebeest, and many more. The elephants at Amboseli are the largest in Kenya and we got to watch a family of elephants interact with each other for a long time. We could not find the giraffes, but were lucky enough to spot some on the drive home about an hour outside the park. The buffet lunch provided at the lodge was fantastic-- the best we have had in Kenya. (Soda and water cost extra.) The restrooms at the lodge were also very, very nice. Overall, it was well worth the price when you factor in the four-hour drive each way and the fact that our park entrance tickets were included. At the entrance to the park gate, the Maasai people were very pushy selling jewelry and carvings. They came right up to the windows of our van and it was uncomfortable when we said we did not want to purchase anything. Our guide Thomas was very quiet. He answered all of the questions we asked him, but never initiated a conversation or volunteered additional information. However, he was an excellent driver and since the road to Amboseli was very dangerous with oncoming traffic, we felt safe with him driving us. Our only puzzlement was about drinking water. It was advertised that drinking water was provided, but our guide did not offer any. We did not bring enough with us for the long trip and had to ask to stop at a store on the way home to purchase some ourselves. This was a fun day for our family of four and we would definitely recommend it!

The best memory in Kenya

Antony is the best guide I have ever met. He brought us to Amboseli from the very early morning and sent us to the airport at late evening. He knows very well about the park and show us rare animals like lions, flamingos and so on. He even helped us the complicated process of customs with patience. I highly recommend this tour and him!!!

Amazing experience
