Booked a private jeep tour, when I got to the park, there was no private jeep, but a shared van! This was frustrating, but Douglas was quick to fix the problem. This issue aside, the tour was FANTASTIC. Alex is a great guide, quick to answer questions and goes above and beyond to be sure you see as much as possible. HIGHLY recommended to anyone who wants an unparalleled experience in Nairobi.

Great tour with Steve, totally recommended

Steve, the tour guide from the operator I booked from, was very punctual to pick me up from my hotel in Nairobi. Everything was great! We were waiting for other passengers, but in the meantime he drove me through the park and we saw a few animals. Then the elephant orphanage was a great experience, so as the Giraffe center and the museum, and the jewelry factory where masai women work at. Steve walked the extra mile for me, he even gave me some insights about the country, we had a good chat about politics and society. I very much enjoyed the conversations. Thanks again, Steve for making this day so good!

This trip is not completed until Jan 3rd. The reservation was made a couple of weeks prior. The tour guide called me last minute to cancel. I will let you know if it happens on Jan 3rd. If it doesn't, I am contacting my credit card company.

Driver was two hours late in picking us up and we were stranded at Nairobi airport trying to make contact. Our 4 hour tour was only half the length of time due to this. Driver raced through the park and we saw very few animals there was no water for us which also should have been included. I would like a full refund for our group please

As you can remember you had your bags in a different airport and you landed in a different one.. that's was the reason there was no time for get enough time to do the park properly . You gave us a confusinsing information about your landing location.

Tour was cancelled. Tour operator did not give me a refund.

There were not enough people on the tour so the tour guide cancelled the trip. The tour guide told me that he was going to refund the amount but didn't do so. I did a private tour through Nairobi National Park with a local taxi driver. It was great.

Once we finally got into the park we were fortunate in that although the game was limited we were lucky and did see a number of big game. Unfortunately the experience prior to this was poor, the driver arrived on time but thought we were booked for a full day tour, although having mentioned when I booked my mum had mobility issues she found it hard to get into the vehicle as no step was available. We then drove at some speed to another to hotel to collect guests who had already apparently been picked up, after waiting at least 10 minutes. We then arrived at the game park to face what I can only describe as a complete farce, the purchase of entry tickets took nearly an hour luckily we’d insisted my mum stayed in the vehicle but had she not she would have physically struggled. There was no bottled water provided on board and the alleged guide said nothing but the driver did offer occasional bits of info. The transfer then provided back to our hotel was basic at best and this was only arranged when we refused to wait at the elephant orphanage. This was the first time I’d used viatour, my parents have used you before and recommended but I would be very reluctant to use you again.

Great afternoon seeing amazing animals

Excellent experience with James the driver. Pick up from hotel in a separate car then met James at the park for an afternoon tour. Saw some fantastic rhinos, giraffes, impala, warthogs etc up close with lots of photo opportunities, with some interesting commentary in an open top van. Followed by a short stop at a cafe/tourist shop before ride home

Not as expected

We were really excited and looking forward to the safari but the overall experience was abit disappointing. 1. Our Tour van had 8 people so it felt abit crowded it was also an older car. 2. The company coordinator was very nice and tried to accommodate Our requests however The tour guide Alex isn’t polite/friendly comes off abit rude we had some concerns about not having enough seats because the van was packed and he was really arrogant about it even threaten To Leave us behind and we lose our $180 park entrance fee which was none refundable, But he does seem to know how to navigate the park well I will give that to him. 3. Am not sure if we came on a bad day but we didn’t get to see that many animals, the most exciting one was the one lion which came abit close by other than that there were about two giraffes from a very far distance and a few gazelles and one zibra amongst a few others All in all this wasn’t a worth while experience you are better off going to the Masai Mara if you have the time for it if not then try out the animal orphanage just next to the park and giraffe center you will get to have a more up close experience with the animals. I won’t spend another 90usd on this experience wasn’t worth it
