Lou our tour guide was very good. The squeals and laughter from my kids made it worth every penny. The Spanish moss was beautiful. I recommend taking the last tour of the day. The sun setting through the Cypress trees made it quite beautiful. I would give it more stars if I could. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

Lots of Gators....Highly Recommend

This trip was the high point of the week! We almost canceled based on the cold and windy weather. Based on a local blog, we opted to include the transportation option so we were picked up at Harrah's casino. We were given a 75 minute window and told to wait outside on the curb to be picked up....no way! It was cold. We waited in the lobby and the van pulled up, driver jumped out and waited for us while we hurried out. Excellent driver with a history lesson as took the 45 minute drive. My son was a little disappointed we opted for the pontoon instead of the airboat, but because of the weather....it turned out to be the right choice. Some people have posted about only seeing one alligator from a distance. We easily saw 20 or more throughout the entire 90 minute (which turned out to be 2 hours as we kept seeing more alligators) trip. Great trip, lots of stories about the history of the area too! We highly recommend....and I was worried with the windy conditions and because I get very seasick. I felt just fine the entire trip, the experienced captain knew how to keep the pontoon level and it was an easy ride.

Captain of the platoon boat was excellent! Got us close to the alligators. Store, bathroooms and waiting area were very clean, organized and clean. Pictures were a great touch!

Since New Orleans is a walking city, best believe we walked! Our tired feet, however, appreciated having the option of floating on a pontoon in the Bayou. We had a wonderful, serene time and learned so much about the local wildlife and ecosystem. Pick up and drop off was superb since it came right to our hotel. plus, the pictures they took before the tour were so cute (and kinda corny but we personally love that). Weather was perfect but locals all said we came at the perfect time of the year too.

It was nice for older people. We wanted to see more alligators and wildlife. This was indeed just a tour around the Mississippi . The pick up shuttle was prompt and was a nice ride. Our tour guide was funny but if you want action please sign up for Airboat adventures. We were fooled because it says airboat but it was a a small ferry. That wasnt what we expected. Even through the description so be careful what you sign up for. .

Our tour guide was great! A local, complete with accent, and full knowledge of the bayous and swamps. He shared stories and lots of history. All entertaining for both adults and children. The kids loved watching him feed the alligators and raccoons. It was so exciting to get to see all of the swamp wildlife! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone of all ages. Bring cash for tip!

Check in at the launch was easy and quick. They have a lot of women's bathrooms so the wait is not long. Boat left on time and returned on time. Guided tour was awesome.

Great experience seeing the Bayou. Our captain was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We were on the Cajun Cadillac so a smooth slow ride without the loud noise from an airboat.

I would absolutely not recommend the pontoon tour. The driver did not know how to turn the boat around so half of the tour was him backing up and going forward. He continuously told everyone to stop talking, as if we don’t want to enjoy our time. Also the tour says 1.5 hours online and it was only an hour
