This was so much fun. At your own pace . We can stop and pause the tour , shop, grab a drink and continue on. The audio was entertaining. Best way to avoid crowded tours.

Most memorable part of my tour was that we got locked in and left at the cemetery!!! Horrible experience! Driver didn’t even come back to get us !!n our cell ph died and had no way to get Back ! Ended up having someone help us with a phone so we could call an Uber !

Hearing all the history about various New Orleans places was eye opening. Gives you no room for misunderstanding. I would recommend this if ghosts and vampires is your interest.

Great experience with an amazing tour guide! Loved that it would give specific directions of how to get to the next stop! Even through a freak thunderstorm and pouring rain, it was a great adventure! Ponchos saved the day! My entire group had a blast! Loved that we could pause and go at our own pace while checking out the shops along the way! Highly recommend!

Nobody there, wasted my money, refund?

There was nobody there, we were supposed to pick up the tour materials at the Lalaurie Mansion, but it was closed. We got there at 5 pm, well before the closing time. I want a refund. Thanks.

Surprisingly effective app, good narrator!

The content was good and all the sites were surprisingly close to each other. I don’t think we ever walked for over 3-4 minutes between locations. Good app (you must download it). The app had a built in navigation system that made it easy to stay on course (an arrow would overlay on the map). I was shocked at how simple and effective it was. The narrator did a good job of making sure he verbally oriented you so you didn’t head the wrong way on a busy street.

Very easy and cost effective way to learn about the haunted history of the French Quarter....do at your own pace. Just wish the directions for the walking would have been a bit easier to decipher....maybe consider using a map program on one phone in conjunction with this app running on a different phone. New Orleans streets are a bit tricky and not all are marked with street signs.

Self-Guided Tour worth every penny spent!

This tour was affordable and very interesting as well as intriguing. The narrator and instructions were precise and easy to understand. We did go during the day, as I wanted to avoid the crowds at night. It was a little spooky too, as we did see something or someone in the window of Lalaurie Mansion! We also did several Google searches for more information on the places that were featured in the tour and was amazed at their history. I highly recommend as this was worth every penny spent, and we did not have to be bothered with incoherent tour guides or disrespectful guests. It was a great experience all around!

This self guided tour was perfect for me because I was on a very tight schedule and there were stops along the tour where I knew I wanted to spend a little more time, like the VooDoo shop. I was able to begin my tour earlier than scheduled guided tours so I was able to finish by noon and still had time for shopping and snacks. Tour was fun and entertaining with nice sound effects to add to the stories. A live guide is nice so you can interact with them but this is close. It’s also very affordable to those on a tight moneybudget.
