Recommend. Anderson is terrific.
Cindy_D, Apr 2024
Anderson was a terrific tour guide. A great balance of fun and seriousness, which is important given the tour’s subject matter (crime) and intention (entertainment). I learned a lot about specific events but also general New Orleans history, culture, and building construction.
Awesome

Mikko was very entertaining with the stories, and shared a lot of information. It was an easy walk…. The meeting time is 15 minutes before the actual tour start… quite a few real crime stories where he even provided some of his own opinions to enhance the facts. Highly recommend.
Anderson is the man!

Anderson was our guide and man he was a character! He knew all the stories, answered all of our questions and you could tell he loved this city and its history. If you want to hear about some real and gruesome murders, some that even happened not that long ago, I would recommend this tour!
Wonderful tour!

Great tour, the guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Good way to experience the beautiful architecture of the French Quarters. Reaching my Fitbit step goal was a bonus!!
Awesome!

Dane was super informative. We had a great time learning about the crimes in New Orleans. Could’ve easily spent a couple more hours learning more.
Great experience!

We had an amazing tour. Elaine was great and so knowledgeable. I would highly recommend booking a tour with her!
Unprofessional, uneventful and disappointing
Norma_W, Feb 2024
There were four of us together, only ones in the group on February 10th, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. We could not go inside the office/gift shop because “they” were in a parade and our guide did not have a key. We walked and stood in several spots listening to true crimes yes, but didn’t get to go into any buildings to view as it indicated on the brochure. We were all bored and some of the stories were hard to follow or we could barely hear the guide. This tour is something we will highly not recommend, the cost of it was ridiculous for what we got. We usually always give great reviews, but this time we just couldn’t. So disappointing.
Response from Host, Feb 2024
"I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your walking tour with us. I would like to address some of the issues that you have raised. Please note that our Murder Tour does not involve entering any private residences, and this was never mentioned in any of our advertising material, including our brochure. As the creator of the brochure, I can confirm this. Many of the locations on our tour are private homes, and we respect the privacy of the homeowners. I hope this clarifies any confusion, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you." Regarding the shop closure, I apologize for any inconvenience caused. We are one of the few tour companies that have a central location in the French Quarter to start our tours. While we do have a great little gift shop, it is operated by only one person - me. I work ten hours a day, seven days a week, with only one day off a month (the "Sacred Second Wednesday"). Occasionally, I do get a treat, like participating in the Tucks Parade, where I gave away tons of cheer to thousands of people. While I do understand that you were disappointed about the shop closure, I hope you can appreciate that I am only one person and sometimes need to take time off to recharge. However, if you let me know when you're in town next, I'll make sure the shop is open for you in case you want to come in.
One of the best tours to do

It was a great experience! Our guide was so knowledgeable and when he shared the stories he told them in a way you could visualize the people and setting. I'd 100 percent recommend to others.
Best tour in New Orleans!

Dane was a fantastic tour guide! We had a great experience with him. He was very knowledgeable and gave an excellent performance.
Not if it's Mikko!
Jon_W, Oct 2023
I am not one to leave negative reviews, but I think all should know what to expect. I am sure this could/is a good tour, but not if Mikko is your guide. He was beyond scattered getting annoyed with passers-by and distracted by the smallest things. He rarely linked locations to stories, and frankly was just NOT a good storyteller. This was scheduled to be a two-hour tour, but my wife and I left one hour into the tour when Mikko left the group for a restroom break. I would like to take this tour again because I think there is potential for it to be entertaining and informative, but only if he is not the guide.
Worth every penny
MELINDA_D, Aug 2023
Our guide Mikko was great, lots local education and knowledge. It didn't feel like a tour it felt like we were being shown around by our best friend. It didn't feel scripted at all.
Wonderful tour

One of my favorite experiences while visiting New Orleans! Our tour group was very personal, only 5 friends and family members. Johnathan, our tour guide, was very funny and knowledgeable. We booked a 7pm evening tour and even though it was very hot outside, it was worth it. We were offered free waters at the beginning, stopped at a coffee shop halfway through for more, and was kept cool throughout by a fan Johnathan carried. Thanks so hosting us!

Top Notch True Crime Tour
Lisa_G, Jul 2023
Jonathan is the best tour guide we’ve had in NOLA! We went on the true crime, “Sinister Criminal Intentions” tour and it was so much better than we anticipated. We visited lots of sights and heard even more stories in between. Well worth it!!
Great tour!
