Great Tour to Begin the Vacation

This was the perfect tour to start our New Orleans trip....we wanted a trip that would be easy so we opted for the transportation option. We were given a 30 minute pick-up window but they were an additional 15 minutes later than that....we were ready to give up but the tour bus finally showed up. Apparently they pick up all the French Quarter hotels first, and a couple of the groups were late, and the driver had to wait for them. The tour itself was in a comfortable small bus, with a driver who knew and understood the history as he survived through Katrina. We highly recommend this trip and tour!

Being an older dude, I was out of place on bourbon street and didn’t have high hopes for the rest of my 3 day stay. That all turned around when I booked a city tour. Our tour guide Gary was super knowledgeable about his beautiful hometown. I learned so much about the rich (and sometimes frustrating) history of New Orleans. Funny, flexible on stops and ready to give some insider tips, I couldn’t recommend a better guide to get to know NOLA. I spent the rest of my trip backtracking to the sites and recommends he gave. Thanks Gary !

Wonderful tour with our very knowledgeable guide, Gary! He was super informative, funny and maneuvered that bus through the very congested streets of New Orleans with ease! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see and hear about the rich history of NOLA. My only negative is the bus itself…the seats were tattered, torn and FILTHY! There was a bit of a bad smell and also graffiti on the side panel under the window. Other than that…don’t hesitate to book this tour!

Seeing the history and things that make New Orleans unique were really interesting. The two highlights were the time in the cemetery and at the Katrina site. All of the information provided was interesting and was really fun to hear. The bus was comfortable and I also liked that it was smaller without as many people as some of the larger buses.
