Guy was a fabulous guide. It's so apparent he loves his adopted city, is friendly and familiar with many of the locals we passed in the streets. Guy's tour was full of history, specific architectural knowledge and many anecdotes of NOLA's storied past and buildings. We highly recommend!!

Amazing weekend walking tour

We came down for a long weekend with friends and booked this walking tour to get a good sense of the area, history and architecture. Carlos was our guide and we lucked out being the only ones who booked the tour on Saturday morning!! We had a great time and learned all about New Orleans history , architecture and culture. Carlos was the best guide! He catered the tour for us and was so much fun to spend the morning with! We asked questions throughout the tour and he was extremely knowledgeable in answering all of them . We enjoyed that he is from New Orleans as well and was able to incorporate unique perspective being a local. I would absolutely recommend this and would request Carlos to anyone without hesitation !

I got lost when getting to the meeting point, but the rich history on the tour made up for it. Our tour guide was more than helpful in suggesting areas to visit and the different museums in the city. You will get to know the different architecture of the buildings and the history behind them.

Seemed like a VIP tour

We got there right on time to meet up, take the excursion and enjoy perfect weather for the tour. Thanks for not cancelling the tour as my wife and I were the only ones on it this day. All that being said we were treated to a VIP tour that was second to none. We were able to enjoy open discussions, ask many questions and learn a lot more than we anticiipated. The tour brought to light many things we never would have known and we were in the French Quarter for two days before our tour on Thursday. I'm an architectural 'nut' and love learning about the different styles of architecture that abound in the FQ - thanks to our guide. Yes, I would recommend this tour to others even if they don't have a great love for architecture.
