Great tour!!!
kathleen_s, Oct 2023
Rory was an awesome tour guide. So much interesting history about both nyc and Chelsea Market (and the meat packing district.) Not to mention a great British accent that makes listening to him a pleasure. Lots of funny comments about “those Brits” —in nyc history —the scoundrels!
Well worth the price.
Brendan_R, May 2023
A really good experience overall. Great tour guide. Interesting stories about the Liberty Hotel. Guide certainly knew her stuff.
Story telling
Marc_C, Aug 2022
The guide did a great job in story telling, but it was not worth the value of $47 per person, taking into account we were a group of 7 - one family. Unacceptable expensive and worth to take action Viator!
Very interesting tour of Chelsea
Tanja_K, May 2022
We actually wanted to book a tour for the highline which was not running on this day of the week. Alternatively, we decided for this tour which was a piece of luck! We especially liked Chelsea market and the detailed stories about the meatpacking district. Only thing to gripe about is the price for only two hrs. The day before, we did a small group tour with New York City Highlights at the same prize which took us 6 hrs. And it was at least as good as this one.
Very well done

Very well done tour, well organized, perfect length. Great size, very small group. The weather was perfect.
Fabulous walking tour, very informative
Laura_A, Mar 2022
We had a great guide and ended up being the only 2 on the tour. We learned a lot about the areas we explored - what they used to be and what they are now. Highly recommend this tour group and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Perfect little tour!

Christine really knew her stuff… all of the historical context really brought things to life! The tour ended at Little Island which is a gem! Fantastic views and just a wonderful oasis .
New discoveries in Chelsea area.
Donald_W, Nov 2021
Christine was very pleasant and personable. We had a small group so it was easy to hear and questions could be addressed. It was our first introduction to the Highline which we had heard of and the Chelsea Market was an interesting experience to visit. We also walked to see where and what the "Little Island" (park)was.
‘Twas Good

Chelsea Market

This was a fabulous tour of places in the city that maybe a little less recognized. We truly enjoyed the tour.
Chelsea Tour

We really enjoyed our tour with Alyssa. She was very knowledgeable, and made the tour a lot of fun. It was windy and cold on the day of our tour, and it was mostly outside, so we were a bit frozen when we finished. But, Alyssa managed to get us inside and let us warm up when she could. This is an area of the city that we had not previously been to, and we were really glad that we made time for it.
A Great 2+ Hours !
ray q, Sep 2019
This tour was very informative. Amelia did a great job with her knowledge and insight of the area ...specifically the Chelsea Market and the Highline itself. She was very congenial and integrated everyone on the tour resulting in a great experience. It is a really good activity for anyone with zero knowledge of this part of NYC.
Highline tour
John R, Aug 2019
The Highline Walking Tour we took on Sunday August 11th was great. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We would recommend it .
Great day!
Sheila R, Jun 2019
This tour was a great way to explore Chelsea Market and the highline for the first time. The tour was fun, informative and introduced us to lots of things to see and do in the area. Our guide Amelia was friendly and well prepared. She knew exactly where to go and the interesting landmarks to point out. At the end of the tour we had time to return to a few places on our own and enjoy a great lunch. We loved it!
Meatpackers Tour
Lyn_H, May 2019
This was both enjoyable and informative. Ched, our guide was helpful and insightful. We would recommend this tour and the tour company.
Nice small group!
Suzanne Y, Apr 2019
We only have 4 of us in the group which made it a nice intimate tour. Not a struggle to hear for sure! Fun area. I'd have liked to have walked a lot further on the Highline itself and heard a bit more about specific buildings.
Fun and Informative
Pamela C, Jul 2018
We spent a lovely morning walking thru Chelsea seeing the exciting Market and the High Line and Meatpacking District. Rory was knowledgeable and brought the area back to its beginnings which was a treat for a couple of history buffs. Learned a lot, visited a new part of the city for us and the pace was just right. Two hours flew by.
We learned a lot about the history...
Edward L, Feb 2018
We learned a lot about the history of NYC from our guide on this tour. She was charming and informative. The tour itself was amazing. The Highline Park was well-worth seeing. Congratulations to those who had the foresight to build it. on top of the old rail system. We sent back to Chelsea Market to explore in detail after the tour.
Great tour! Loved the Highline walk...
Wendy B, Dec 2017
Great tour! Loved the Highline walk. Our guide Patrick was knowledgeable and fun and we were very spoilt as we were the only two on the tour so it was virtually ‘private’ - appreciate that they never cancelled which many companies may have.
