Very disappointed in the tour, we were Asked to go sit upstairs at the back not to disturb the service when leaving, to do the walk. Felt disconnected from the service watching it on screens, we could have bought a video. they comprised the hole experience, because we need to leave quietly. The walk around Harlem should not be part of the tour. They need to let people connect with the music and service not put them upstairs to watch the service on screens one on each side. Very disappointed think twice before booking this tour.

Great way to get an introduction into the neighborhood with Gospel, a walking tour and the chance to taste some great soul food afterwards closely, all in one morning without getting up too early!

Great experience, music terrific and guide knowledgeable. Only downside was we only stayed for part of the service. Also our group and others group all put up in balcony away from congregation. Having done one of these many years ago I expected to be immersed with congregation as that is what you do when you go to church. The tour of Harlem after was very interesting also.

De kerkdienst was leuk om mee te maken. Het is niet te vergelijken met de foto maar wel de moeite waard. Moderne kerk, achterin op t balkon en konden niet alles zien. Daarna hadden we een tour door Jarlem en vertelde de dame vanalles. Ze vertelde boeiend en was goed te verstaan. Vooral info over het Apollo theater en alle grote muzikanten was interessant.

Wir besuchten den 1. Teil des Gotttestdiensts (bis zur Kollekte) einer baptistischen Gemeinde. Man muss respektieren, dass dies so von der Gemeinde möglich gemacht war. Schließlich ist das keine Touristenshow. Entsprechend diskret war die Gruppe auf der Empore platziert. Der Ablauf bestand nicht nur aus Gesang sondern zum großen Teil auch aus rednerischen Teilen. Nach dem etwas über 1-stündigen Gottesdienstbesuch erfolgte ein kleiner Rundgang um das Zentrum von Harlem mit entsprechenden Erläuterungen.

Très enrichissant de participer à ne messe Gospel; vivre l'énergie,le communautaire de ce groupe. Très bonne idée que de participer seulement à la moitié de la célébration pour faire une marche guidée de Harlem. La guide était organisée et cinnaissante. J'aurais pris encore une heure avec elle.

Un bon moment à Harlem, on est immédiatement plongé dans cette ambiance Gospel , où tout le monde participe . Une guide formidable qui nous a fait faire un bon tour de Harlem, en nous expliquant toutes les périodes importantes de l histoire de Harlem

Führung war ok, aber hektisch, Hat mich an meine Militärzeit erinnert! Hop, Hop.... Platzeinweiser in der Kirche waren sehr unfreundlich. Man kam sich vor wie eine Herde Schafe die herumgetrieben würde. Kein richtiger Gottesdienst mit Predigt usw. nur sehr lauter Gesang , die Ohren taten uns weh!! Das wichtigste schien die Kollekte zu sein... danach mussten wir zügig gehen. Schade, hatten mehr erwartet!

Le show à l'église est spectaculaire, très touristique mais très professionnel. La guide de Harlem connait bien son quartier et est très sympathique. Un bon deal pour un bon souvenir.
