A must see tour

Definitely worth the money to have a knowledgeable guide help you navigate through the park to see all the sight in a timely manner, you learn so much and he takes pictures of you at the sights, nice bonus. Lyle was a great guide. Highly recommend. You can’t beat the price.

Lyall is fantastic. Great tour with just the right amount of info. Family of 4 (2 boys aged 21 and 19) really enjoyed it. Nice facts about the park, and some interesting info on some of the movies that were filmed there. Great way to spend a couple of hours in Central Park. our guide Lyall was more than just considerate and engaging; he shared stories from the park's early history through recent times, pointed out interesting details we may not have otherwise noticed, and answered all of our questions. my wife and I were part of a small group of 9 that moved at a nice pace and we could all hear our guide as he spoke. We saw the lower half of the park ending at Strawberry Fields with a view of the Dakota.

I am sorry that you do not attend the tour, but the truth is that you did not follow the instructions and was waiting somewhere else, not the meeting spot. Others who bought the same tour from the same vendor made the tour. I did attempt to contact you, but once the tour is going, I am unable to keep checking for an email from you. Wonderfully personalized and entertaining walking tour with Central Park Guide Lyall! He made the park and its history come alive with photos and music, stories and accents. He’s worked in the park and is very knowledgeable about the different plantings. He had suggestions about things to do and see after the tour. Really, I must see tour with a fantastic Guide!

This was my first time taking a Central Park tour and all I can say is, it was amazing!! Lyle, our guide was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and had a great personality. We were actually late for our tour and Lyle kept in contact with me and met me at artisan gate to help us catch up with the rest of the group. Truly a gentleman. Would highly recommend this tour and tour guide.

Could be better

First of all, the meeting point is inside the "Bike Tour" office and it's extremely hard to locate your tour guide. No sign for the Walking Tour. I was 20 minutes early for our meeting time and asked the Bike Tour people and they seemed mostly unaware of this Walking Tour business. I almost missed my tour. I called the number on the voucher and finally caught my tour guide before the group went on for the tour. Tour guide seemed knowledgeable but wish we could hear more as we were walking along the park. We would walk and then stop to hear bits and pieces about the park and wish it was packed more throughout the tour.
