All I could say the water was absolutely beautiful that day and the waves were prefect going out to the islands. Jay our tour guide getting there was awesome. She explained everything so well to us on what to do and not what to do and about the history of the island. I recommend her 100% being your tour guide.

Wonderful employees. It...

Wonderful employees. It was our best vacation ever. Perfect weather. Our sons are really enjoying kayaking for hours.
Misleading content and advertising pictures.
Sandy_W, Aug 2023
Not worth the exorbitant prices. The actual time spent kayaking is only fraction of the tour. I also would not recommend booking here unless you have a car or plan to take an Uber/Lyft.

Aloha Sandy and we are very sorry to hear about your experience. Our Twin Islands Guided Kayak Tour, which you originally signed up for, would have had much more kayaking and would have fit the advertising and pictures accurately. When you arrived and opted to go on he shorter kayak tour, we were happy to make this last minute arrangement to fit your needs. It is of course a different tour than what you booked online. I hope that clears any confusion and we are really sorry to hear that your experience was anything less than perfect.
Kailua rocks!!!!

We had a great time. Mike was incredible as a guide; really friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely island, great wildlife, spectacular scenery and good workout (5 miles round trip!)
Clear water, fun times!

Austin was our guide and took us on an adventure of a life time!! He was a great kayak leader, so much knowledge of the islands, and bonus, we saw not one but two endangered monk seals!! Even the teenage kids had a good time - and they’re hard to impress!
I would do it again

Had a great day with the guide (Will). This was a perfect trip for me and my wife. We were wiped out afterwards but it was worth it.
Fabulous tour!! Great experience!!

We had a beautiful day and calm seas. Tommy gave a great tour. We saw nesting birds, reefs, turtles, crabs, fish, sea cucumbers and limpets. We got to jump in the “queens bath” too. Awesome tour and guide.
Fun Challenge

Kayaks, Beach Time, & Twin Islands

You won’t be disappointed! Will was our guide and he was relaxed, confident, and knowledgeable. Everything to be expected on our trip was explained to us before we left the shop to bring our kayaks to the beach (there’s a law preventing commercial companies from doing business on lanikai beach, so you do have to do a little bit of work to get your kayak(s) from the shop to the beach, but it’s worth it and only takes 5 to 10 mins). While we kayaked to the biggest of the twin islands, Will would point out things and give us information on Oahu, Lanikai beach, and other various things (Olympic swimmers we saw training in the ocean, turtles (when we were lucky enough to glimpse one, local fishes, rowing teams, real estate, you name it!) which was nice to learn while we paddled and enjoyed the views of the island and ocean around us. Once we got to the island, Will took us for a little tour of the island which involved a little bit of hiking/climbing over rocks, and we saw lots of the monogamous birds that the island is a sanctuary for as well as a turtle, crabs, sea urchins, fish, and even a cowrie shell. We learned lots about the island and some of the lore surrounding it and we got to enjoy the Queen’s bath for a few minutes (my husband and I jumped in while most of the group members waded in more carefully). It was lovely and the views from the island were breathtaking. After we “hiked” back to the beach, we enjoyed lunch (turkey sandwich, chips, granola bars, and water/fruit punch) and promptly went to swim and snorkel in the time we had left before we had to kayak back. Overall, it was a very enjoyable 5 hours that was worth the money. My only gripe? I wish we had just 15 to 20 minutes more of swim/snorkel time after lunch.
Fantastic Kayak Teip

First, very professional company in a super relaxed atmosphere. We booked the private tour and it was well worth the extra money. Tommy is a phenomenal tour guide. Our family of 4 is is good shape so we made good time to the island. He gave us a tour and lots of information. We spent time snorkeling with turtles and an octopus. Then, spent a little time on another beach before heading back. Maddie, who is training, accompanied us on the trip and she was very sweet and helpful. It was one of our favorite day trips! Definitely try the Island Snow afterwards. I had the vanilla and kona coffee with snow cap and OMG!
Great adventure 😊

Wonderful day kayaking and snorkeling! Will is a fantastic guide. So knowledgeable as a marine biologist and great with people in the group, accommodating diverse interests and different paces. We saw a few turtles and had so much fun!
Incredible kayaking

Kayaking to Twin Islands
Travis_G, Dec 2020
Found a turtle snorkeling at flat Island, just before kayaking back. Plus hiking around to the natural salt bath on the backside of the island was awesome!
Response from Host, Jan 2021
Aloha Travis and thank you for the awesome review! For a second I pictured a turtle snorkeling and it was a pretty hilarious image ;) Mahalo Nui!
Amazing catamaran adventure
nebucanezzer21, Dec 2019
This is such a fun activity and we highly recommend it to everyone. Got to swim with turtles then sail back to shore. For extra fun try ridding in the front of the ship during the trip back. Crew is great, friendly and professional.
