        Info and Tickets not easy to get

        Seeing the Catacombs via the self guided tour and River cruise were great. However I didn't get my tickets emailed to me as they said I would. It was just a voucher that claimed it was not an entry ticket and that I would need to redeem it at a redemption point. When I asked about this it was very difficult to get the response I needed. Then when u finally got the information I needed I had only got one ticket when I had purchased 2. Have used Viator before with no issues but this one was very difficult to get all the needed tickets and information sadly.

        The lines were short and orderly. We had a timed entry so entry was smooth. The whole idea of this place is fascinatingly creepy lol. I’m glad I didn't miss this. The entire tour could be done in as little as 45 minutes or as long as an hour and a half if you read every sign thoroughly. It was not over sold or crowded. It was just right. Thank you catacombs for not trying to cram in as many people as you can. This was worth it for sure. As far as price, maybe a bit more money than it should be but still worth it. I guess a few extra dollars is not a high price for some elbow room in a dark underground place filled with bones lol.

        Don’t actually skip the lines, but you are letting at 5 o’clock with your ticket and other people holding the tickets. The catacombs, of course are very interesting and this comes with the audio guide which is definitely a must have. The river cruise was fine. Next time I would do it earlier in the week because we had seen many of the things that we sell by, but it’s still beautiful.

        We were a bit unsure if this was legit based on earlier reviews but we received our tickets by email as promised and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The catacomb visit was much more expansive than we expected, and the audio guide was very well done.

        Everything went smoothly. Received tickets for both the catacombs and the river cruise in the mail a few hours after the purchase. There was no skip he line when I went. I was late by 15 minutes to my time slot and there were no issues getting in.

        Catacombs and boat tour were fantastic! Very clear instructions on where to go and tickets are given to you right away. Having the audio guide for the catacombs was also really great as it provided background and information to a place that doesn't have the most information panels or stuff like that. Boat trip was also great, about 30 minutes and you get some great views!

Cruising along the river, taking in the iconic Parisian landmarks in the golden hours of the afternoon, was nothing short of magical.         I booked via the Viator platform because Catacombs tickets were unavailable directly from the venue Web site. Initially what was sent/received did not look like proper tickets that the Catacombs would accept and the Seine River Cruise tickets weren't received at all. However, by reaching out to both the tour operator (via the Viator platform) and Viator's own customer support, they were able to fix the issues fairly quickly. So what seemed like a disaster resulted in our party being able to take the Seine River cruise on an earlier date and then visit the Catacombs the morning of our final day in Paris.

        The tickets worked and were at a reasonable price, but it wasn't very clear where to show them at the catacombs (the guard at the entrance didn't know exactly what is "skip the line" - luckily the line was short anyways). At the cruise it wasn't clear which boat exactly we should take and how to get to it, it took some searching and guessing that could easily be avoided by adding this information at the selling page (someone who knows can easily add photos and maps with place-markers). The tickets seller support contacted us a day before and was welcoming and helpful attitude.

        The Catacombs are a must see - it is a super cool experience. My teenager originally asked why we want to look at old bones and then thought it was cool. This is the only gift shop I bought from! A very cool unique experience! And it's not crowded at all to prevent damage to the ossuary.

        Did not get the tickets despite phoning the 3rd party operator tour trip twice about the matter, another tour operator on site said we had been scammed a word of warning to any one else planning to book this trip.
        Viator is a scam and I won’t use again

        Unfortunately we were unable to get into the catacombs and the Seine River Cruise. I had purchased this package a couple of days before and was emailed a voucher and information that I would receive another email with an attachment for 2 tickets. The email with tickets were never sent. They make it very difficult to contact them other than through a chat message system. After two messages and a long phone call with someone, they were unable to email me the correct tickets and repeatedly sent the vouchers instead. Since this was our last day in Paris, it was disappointing that we could not tour the catacombs. Even though I didn’t care about the river cruise, I didn’t receive those tickets either. The person that I spoke with kept telling me that the tickets were sent which I showed to the attendant at the catacombs and they told me that they were not tickets because there was no QR code or ticket scan. Because the tickets said non refundable, I had to go to my credit card company and dispute the charge for which I immediately received a refund. Viator appears to be running some type of scam as there were more than 10 other people that had the same problem as me while we were waiting on the phone for more than 45 mins to try to get our tickets. They too were turned away without entrance into the catacombs. They make it extremely difficult to contact a customer support agent and when you are finally able to reach someone, the person you speak with appears to be a side company that takes your complaints but is unable to effectively do anything about the problem. They only thing they could offer me at the time was tell me that they would reach out to someone from Viator to email me. I didn’t believe her because I had already emailed twice for them to send the tickets. One was sent back to me saying the tickets were attached but only had a link to a voucher that didn’t work and no reply to the other email I sent. Also no reply to the phone call that I made but I did receive an email to put a review. Overall, I would say avoid Viator if you really want to visit the sites you pay for.
