What To Expect

Not worth it.

Only good thing was the boat ride, I got a better city tour on hop on and off bus.audio was horrible and stopped after #20. Tour guide was hard to find and very rushed. Would not recommend this tour at all.

We met the tour operator for the bus tour and was given a ticket for the boat tour that we could use anytime. We got on the bus which did not have WiFi, nor did they give us headsets. We were given a QR code to download an app and listen to the tour which meant we were to use our own cellular data. We were told their regular bus was broken, so they had us get on one that was moldy and smelled (see picks of the mold and rust). We complained and were told we could take the tour on Tuesday and that Sophia would contact us to reschedule. She never contacted me, even though I gave her my cell number. Tuesday we got on the boat tour which again, told us to download an app and listen to the narration on our phone. The boat did have little speakers on the lower deck (see picture) but they didn't work. We didn't get the type of tours that were advertised. We could have got on one of thoese hop-on/hop-off buses to see the city and paid for the boat tour on our own without using Viator or the tour operator. Very disappointed.

Although the guide did his best, the commentary was mainly inaudible. The coach did not stop for us to take pictures. The cruise has not happened as yet. Could I take it tomorrow? From near the Eiffel tower?

Not good if you want to know the history of Paris and this is your first time here.

Nice bus and boat but the QR code translator app didn’t work and the translation devices on the bus and boat were inoperable. No one heard anything about the land marks. Nice cruise on the river.

Worst tour of our Paris trip. The self guided audio with the couple narration, terrible. Our boat trip, after waiting 1 hour in huge crowds, the boat came but departed empty, no news when a new boat would come. So we left, because there was no information. All you did was drop us off for another operator.

Very disappointed and needing to make a complaint

Tour done on 29/4/23 @4:30 pm. This tour was misleading in the way it was described. It was described as a 2:30 hrs in a luxury bus, stop for photos at the Tower and go on the river cruise. The bus was old, no audio sets (just to scan a bar code on the phone, no head phones, no indication on what we were seeing and where) and no stop at the Tower. For the river cruise we were given some tickets that were dated from last year and told that they were valid for one year and go to the docs at anyone time. When we went to the docs we had to line up with thousands of people who had tickets from various different sources so we haven't actually even made it into the boat because of the huge waiting time. The tour organisers haven't taken us to the boat but we were sent to find our own way there before lining up with the rest of the crowd. For tourists with limited time for each activity, this was not what we needed so we had to miss the boat part. We expected to be part of a group in a tour. We will make a formal complaint and ask for a refund.

This was horrible. Ear plugs worked hall the time, meeting place hard to find, disorganized, facts very boring, did not see some major buildings and went by many places twice. A terrible experience.

The cruise was extremely affordable. The boat was clean and comfortable. Included in the cost was a bus tour of the city. The information was informative. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Sight seeing

The city tour and sight Seine River were great. We enjoyed the tours very much, but the meeting point was terrible. The address on the ticket was different from the actual meeting point. We stayed at the address on the ticket for almost 1/2 an hour and didn't see anyone showed up, so we decided to ask other tour guides and luckily we found out that we needed to check in in the office next to where it's stated on the ticket. We almost missed our tours.

Confusing

First off being from the US and not knowing anything about Paris,I felt very confused as to how to find the location for catching the bus. The bus ride was ok but most of the time was spent listening to music as we sat in traffic. The river ride was good but at no time we were instructed to keep our headsets to listen to various locations along the way. And, afterwards we were left at the Seine to figure out how to get back to our original location. If I had to do it again, I would have spent my time in Paris exploring on my own.

If you take this tour make sure you're on the upper deck on the bus or else you'll end up missing a lot! The river cruise was just okay. Take it only to say that you sailed the Seine a being there, done that kindda thing.

This tour did not even last an hour. We only saw the Eiffel Tower, Opera House and Champs Elysees Arch de Triomphe. We were told they would not be doing the river cruise and to try to get a refund with Viator. They would not let us join the others going to the Eiffel Tower, they just dropped us off at the Eiffel Tower after only one hour. The Hop On Hop off bus was more informative. The guide never spoke. We just had a recording like the Hop On/Off buses. She never added any additional information.

We took this tour in the morning and it was such a great way to start our day. The bus tour took us to major sites and we ended at the pier. We boarded the boat and cruised down the Seine. It was a little cloudy start to the day but by the time the river cruise ended, the sun was out and it was a glorious day. This is a really good tour to take because you get to see some of the major sites on the bus tour and then you get to enjoy a wonderful cruise down the Seine - this is a great tour!

Great experience! We signed on for a 3 hour tour including bus and a river cruise starting at 15:00. At this time of year I highly recommend this time slot. When you start it's still a daylight and by the time you finish it is dark which makes it perfect for your Eiffel tower night photos. It may be little chilly however, make sure you get a nice spot at the top - outside. Haris.
