What To Expect

Choose an entry time when booking; meet your host near the Eiffel Tower a half hour prior to your scheduled time. 

With your group, stroll the short distance to one of the world's busiest monuments. Head straight for the elevators, enjoying direct access to the second floor. Step out with your host to take in some of the best panoramic views in Paris from the viewing platform, 375 feet (114 meters) above the ground. Get a basic orientation to the sights and landmarks visible from your vantage point from your host, then explore the area at your leisure. Snap photos of the Louvre, Les Invalides, Sacré Coeur, and the Champ de Mars, among other standout Parisian highlights. 

After you've had your fill of the second level, proceed to the summit, where you can toast your trip with Champagne from the bar and view Gustave Eiffel's private apartments.

    We had an amazing tour guide named Catalina. It was my Birthday that day and I was celebrating it with my family at the Eiffle Tower. Catalina had an elevator of people sing Happy Birthday to me to my surprise which I thought was so nice. Catalina was so much fun to be with on this tour. She knew everything there was to know about the Eiffle Tower and made it fun with games and trivia to get us all involved. Catalina left no one out and made sure we all had a great time. She managed to even keep the kids captivated and engaged. It will surely be a birthday I will never forgot. Thank You Catalina!!!!

    This was my favorite tour in Paris. We loved going all of the way to the top! A night time tour is a must. It was truly incredible to see the tower lit up and even better to see the twinkling lights! We also enjoyed a view from the very top of the sunset!

    We found it incredibly difficult to buy Eiffel Tower tickets from the ET website, so we paid a substantial premium for a "tour" of the tower. In truth it was no more than "skip the line" tickets. Our guide Pressleigh was less than interested in talking to us about the tower and continually complianed about having so many people. The information she gave could have been discerned from the Eiffel Tower display. Although we appreciated the "skip the line" feature, we were very disappointed in the "tour". It's sad that tour companies like this are buying up all the Eiffel Tower tickets and leaving none for regular people to buy.

    So i paid £157 for 2 people which is Complete waste of money. Didn't get told anything by the tour guide about the Eiffel Tower history. The tour guide leader took us to the 2nd Floor and said "this is where I leave you to do what you want". I could of paid less for what we did. AVOID IF POSSIBLE

    I was late for my appointment and the operator was completely unresponsive to even let us know if something could be done as a basic courtesy. When we contacted Viator support, they were responsive but could not help as they mentioned that operator is not responding. I was told that an email has been sent to operator but I never received it.

    Unable to cancel tour. Crazy price!! Contact personnel not local unable to contact guide for tour. It is easy to visit Eiffel Tower without guide and at a lower cost.

    Worth it purely for the convenience of leading you through the lines and skipping most of the queues. Our “guide” didn’t really have too much to say but was happy for us to just roam once we got to the 2nd floor. Summit access was perfect.

    Guide was very knowledgeable. The views from the summit were spectacular. A rainbow appeared when on level two. The tower lit up at night is amazing.

    The staff at the Paris Lounge was fairly rude, even by French standards. The host was exactly that, he just accompanied our group, no real insight or information was shared. Luckily the other tour group, not this company, was very welcoming and full of great information. Extremely expensive for what it is. Lastly, please know that you are not guaranteed to get to go to the top, most of the time you will only get to the second level. Overall, a life long aspiration was a total and complete let down.

    We always wanted to see Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower. We did, thanks to Viator. We had a terrific guide and enjoyed the views with a glass of champagne. It was a real highlight of our trip!

    We did this tour just before sunset and got to experience the sunset from the top as well as Paris at night. On this particular day and time the lines were not bad so might have saved dollars and just purchased the tickets on site but other times I know it can get extremely crowded and thats why I chose purchasing advanced tickets with a guide. The guide was Ok he helped direct us where to go and gave us a brief history of the tower and told us what was on the various levels and then left us to explore the summit on our own. Not sure if the guide experience was worth it but getting advance tickets might be of value to save you standing in long lines

    It was amazing to see the tower in person. Our guide Ricardo was amazing and so knowledgeable not only on the Eiffel Tower but also all of Paris, he made our experience 1000 times better than if we were to just go on our own!

    Our tour guide presented his knowledge of the Eiffel Tower in a clear manner. He got us through the security lines quickly. He showed us points of interest on the 2 & 3rd floor landing. He showed us how to get up to the top floor. I enjoyed the small group setting. I also enjoyed being able to stay on the tower for as long as we wanted. This was my 3rd time on the tower, my previous times were without a guide, I highly recommend doing the tower w/a guide at least once in your life!

    The guide did nothing more than get us through security & rode with us to the 2nd floor. The said we were on our own. Save your money. Buy a ticket and ride on your own. This did not enhance the experience in any way.
