The louvre is great but should have waited to but my tickets there as I was clearly charged twice the price. At the Louvre only 22 euro per tickets. I was charged 92. Know better next time. And also kids under 18 are free

I booked this tour because tickets to the Louvre were sold out the day I was there with my family. It did serve its purpose of getting us into the museum, however, I was charged for a ticket for my 13 year old daughter and never received one. I later learned that this was because kids enter the museum free. So why did Viator charge for this ticket? Additionally, the tour was advertised as coming with a free audio guide but when I asked at the museum they said that this would be extra. If you're in a pinch and need entry to the Louvre, this will be an ok solution, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise as there is no point if you can purchase your own tickets from the museum directly. It will be cheaper and offer the same experience. The museum also offers audio guide headsets for 6 euro.

We booked the ticket 2 days earlier and received the ticket a day before going to the museum, as promised. Our flight was in the afternoon and it was very difficult getting the morning (9am) tickets of the same day but they had it. With less reviews, I was skeptical about booking it but it turned out to be a life save! . Had no issues with the ticket. Highly recommended.

Not really worth it. Better to just wait in line for regular admission or use the underground entrance. We still had to wait in line to get in and once insight, there was such long lines to get into several wings and the pass doesn’t help for anything once inside.

I booked 3 tickets with this company and they never emailed me the vouchers. Missed my time slot aka an afternoon wasted!! Tried contacting them multiple times and they responded after my scheduled time slot. I use viator a lot and I’ve never had an issue in the past. If I could give zero stars that’s what I’d give. Poor customer service. Don’t book with them if you have an itinerary planned for Paris.

Louvre chaos

Worse experience with Viator. Unclear directions. I think I am buying an audio tour. I download what they say (I think I am but I don’t get the audio only the pictures) get to the Louvre, unclear where to get in line. Finally find where we need to be. Wait in long line for our timed entrance. Contacted Viator and got no response. Finally get in… 40-50 minutes later alarm goes off and everyone is evacuated from the Louvre!!! No explanations - just leave. No idea if we can come back in, no explanations as to when or what! Waste of time and money.

Didn’t have to wait in the long line outside to buy tickets, and we took the Caroussel entrance just like the company had suggested. Buy the tickets early to get the morning slot, we were there at 1pm and it was packed. But we got to see the Mona Lisa, woohoo!!

I would book the tickets on it's own. We tried to download the audio several times prior and the reception everywhere because of the size did not download except for 1-3. We did it at the hotel, with different wifi and it did not work on several devices. It went way to fast. I have tried other audio tours where they did it at a good speed. This one for just room one was filled with stop and go so many times. This was a waste of money.

Confused

The title was misleading since we still paid for audio on site since yours was a separate app and we didn't have headphones and the child with us didn't have a phone. There was no skip the line so we still waited in line and could have paid 22 euros instead of almost 50 that you charged. Not sure what we paid the extra money for but loved the Louvre. Side note we also paid twice because I realized I had the wrong date and even though I called immediately Viator was unable/unwilling to make any changes to our tickets. In one place you said "no changes/refunds" but another place said changes could be made so also confused by that.

Queues

Despite having a timed entry ticket and arriving 15 minutes early as recommended (actually we were 20 minutes early) we queued for an hour to get in. I have arthritis in my knees, so was unable to enjoy the visit as all the standing around had caused my knees to swell. We only had the energy to visit about 1/10 of the museum after that. Waste of money!
