The zoo was large, there was a lot of nature... a lot of flora and fauna; however, some animal exhibits were closed or the animals were hiding (monkeys, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, and more). There was classical guitar playing across the large pond (live? Streamed in?), but it added an overall sense of peace and joy. I also enjoyed the sanctuary side of the zoo. I almost missed it. If you're looking for peace, quiet, and an escape from the chaos of life, the Phoenix Zoo is a great place to escape. :)

It was a beautiful day! Several exhibits under construction but was still able to see many animals. Great time!
Zoo is absolutely amazing purchasing tickets online was a the nightmare!

It was amazing. I read reviews that they weren’t enough animals. However I noticed that there weren’t as many but as the sun came out, so did the animals. The camel rides were great. As well as the giraffes were great. The elephant Took its time, but it eventually came out and it was so adorable. The monkeys are hilarious. It was all a great time. All in all the zoo was wonderful. However, we purchased our tickets on Viator And after it took our money, it wanted us to download an app for our tickets which would not download. So when we try to download it on someone else’s phone, it wouldn’t let us. It delayed our entry by 45 minutes. We had to go in to the membership department and they have to take booking/confirmation number to allow us entry. The whole thing is that it’s supposed to make it more convenient when it made it more difficult.

The exhibits are small, there weren’t very many animals, no elephants, exhibits aren’t engaging This is the worst zoo I have ever been to and I’ve been to a lot of zoos not enough animals in the zoo!

It was a little hot out in the open but overall a great experience. The African animals were lovely. I really liked the giraffe. The lion looked lazy Chillin on a rock.

Beautiful zoo, very spacious. I don’t live in AZ so I was pleasantly surprised of how clean the zoo was. I’d definitely come back.

The monkey's on Monkey Island were very cute and active. We ran out of time, so we didn't get to see everything. Also, getting there earlier, it won't be nap time for a lot of the animals.

My grandson really enjoyed the zoo. Especially, the monkeys. He asked to see elephants. But due to time. He didn’t get a chance to see them, if any. But had a great time.

Enjoyed the zoo & most of the animals seemed like they had adequate space except for the farm animals. They looked so sad especially the mule, mini donkey & min horse. The mule was literally eating his own feces!!!!

This zoo is filled with wonderful animals of all types. The habitats are beautiful and the zoo itself is also beautiful. I would definitely recommend visiting it.

So beautiful, I had the best experience it was cloudy in the beginning of the trip but it did start warming up! I would definitely suggest bringing water, hat, and sunscreen! I got to feed and pet stingrays, it was such an amazing time!!! :)

Seeing all the animals was very memorable. As a kid growing up in Hawaii, we frequented the Honolulu Zoo quite often. Where I live now, we don't have any near by. Soo I enjoyed thhis experience with my kids..
