    If your cruise arrives at Taíno Bay we will meet in the taxi area outside we will have a sign with your name, normally clients meet us 45 to 55 minutes after their cruise docks. In case you are in a hotel in any hotel in Puerto Plata or Sosua, you can book and we will look for you! If your ship arrives in Ambar Cove, you should contact me since I have drivers and I, who work inside, sometimes have many reservations, which we do so that we assign a driver where they must meet at a specific point.

    Amazing waterfalls, thrilling jump and slides, irresponsible operator.

    This tour operation cancelled my trip last minute saying bad weather and that the waterfalls are closed. I was very disappointed since this is my one day at Port from cruise and I had been looking forward to this excursion. The cancellation right before my ship docks makes it impossible to find another tour on Viator or cruise line with short notice. It turns out that weather was perfect and falls were indeed open, I found another tour operator on shore that took me to the falls the same day. The falls were wonderful and I almost missed out on that amazing experience. I would have understood if falls were indeed closed due to bad weather or more advanced notice given, but neither was true. The optional 20ft jump and the slides were thrilling, and the trek to get there under canopy was great. Highly recommended, just not from this operator.

    Good evening sir, our company is very responsible regarding our clients. The waterfalls had been closed for 5 days. The day they arrived, they opened it to be able to operate because there was a little sun, but the conditions and the water level are not appropriate. We prefer to be careful. Instead of just making money and thank you for your criticism that is not appropriate, first ask before you make a bad criticism, good evening.

    It was fun to do activity, but it took longer then what was said and we didn’t get any time at the Taino bay to see it.

    But remember that we have a certain time but if the day you arrive we have more than 4 cruises the time is longer you liked the activity and not the time then I don't understand, but thank you anyway!

    What an amazing excursion to 7 Waterfalls. From the moment our driver, Jr picked us up and drive us to the falls, we knew it was going to be a cool experience. Hiking through the entrance and seeing the first falls was exhilarating. We got to decide if we would jump or slide into the water. We loved every moment of the excursion. A must-do in your next trio to Puerto Plata. 5 star rating.

    This was such an incredible experience for my boyfriend and I that I'm honestly not even sure where to start. There are so many companies offering this exact same trip on Viator and Trip Advisor. I can't remember why I picked this one! It had good reviews but not very many of them. I remember reading every single description and just going with my gut. I'm so proud of my gut! Every single expectation I had was not just met but wildly exceeded. Our guide was JB and our driver was Junior, they were obviously very good friends and the wholesome, playful energy they had between them really bubbled over into the whole trip. I'm the type of traveler who would have been fine quietly looking out the window with a silent driver, but instead we got two sweet best buddies with a guide who told us everything we'd ever want to know about the Dominican Republic and Puerto Plata. There were three pairs of us together in the van and by the time we got to the park we were all really happy and felt like one cohesive group ready to have fun together. That's not easy! I've been on plenty of tours in other places, some of which were really dangerous if the group didn't stay together, and NONE of them did even half as good of a job as JB did at making us feel like one big party of cool kids instead of six people doing their own thing. When we got to the park things just got better and better. The tour itself was super fun and way cooler than I expected - the type of thing you talk about for years. The park gave us a couple more lifeguard/guides and put us into a larger group, and those guys were absolute rockstars as well. They helped two women in another group who'd had multiple recent neurosurgeries gently navigate over rapids and down waterfalls. I'm a nurse and I was really touched that they were able to join the fun and that their well being was well looked out for. Meanwhile in our fun little pod, we were all instructed to leave everything behind and let JB take pictures for us, which is not usually something I care about (I hate pics of myself and never buy the picture packages on trips), but JB took that job SO SERIOUSLY. He took must have taken a hundred shots of us, he climbed down cliffs and swam through fast moving water with the camera over his head - it was HEROIC. I bought the package and joked that I would have bought it twice. It was amazing. If my story stopped there it would still be the best day ever, but it doesn't. Somewhere along the way JB asked if we wanted to try fresh cacao when we were done, and the group said yes. We took a detour after the tour, stopped at a place that I assume was run by family of theirs, were poured giant glasses of the smoothest rum I've ever tasted, and sat in the back of a demonstration for dozens of tourists. Then without any warning all of the other people got onto a bus and left. The six of us, plus JB and Junior, were there alone on this quiet, beautiful piece of land dotted with cacao, coffee, and tobacco plants. We got an intimate, personal demonstration of how they turn the cacao into chocolate, got to taste the freshest and loveliest coffee, and were even given a couple of cigars they'd rolled. Someone inside carved petrified wood and explained what all of the symbolism in their art meant. Everyone was so sincere, kind, warm, and charming. JB and Junior even took videos of us on our own phones for us to keep while we all ground coffee together with a big molcajete (and they were giggling the whole time, which was seriously the cutest thing ever). My partner and I were the only two of the group not staying on DR that night - we had to get back to a cruise ship - so we had to decline offers to show us even more things around town. I have no doubt that every stop JB suggested we make was as amazing as the place we were able to say yes to. I was legitimately sad to get back on the cruise ship, and I left feeling like I'd made two new friends. I gave them both a big hug before I left and told them I'd be back for a longer trip, and I meant it. Gentlemen, thank you so much for sharing your home with us, and introducing us to such lovely people. I have never had a tour like the one you gave us and I can't wait to come see more of the Dominican Republic.

    Alfredo is the perfect guide. He was there early waiting for us near the cruise ship in Puerto Plata. He kept our belongings safe in his taxi while we had our Damajagua adventure. Afterwards, when we told him we needed to buy HDMI cables so we could connect tablets to cabin TVs, he drove us to the Dominican version of Walmart and he helped us purchase the goods we needed. A++++, you cannot go wrong with this booking. Oh, he also gave us legit local homemade booze called "Mama Juana". Delicious and refreshing.

    The driver Alfredo and his paparazzi where wonderful and enntertaining. We had a great time and they took great care of us. Would go again. Hate to say anything negative but we didn't get all the pictures from start to fininsh. Got only one photo from the way down the falls but the rest were only from the last waterfall and to the exit. Would have really loved to have the ones coming each of the 7 falls that he had taken.

    The staff was very attentive and helpful throughout the course of the waterfall. No worries if you can’t swim, they will help you once you jump or slide. There is an option to be a chicken and climb down the ladder which I did multiple times as well 🤭! The driver was efficient and waited on us to complete our time there. Everything was great!

    This was by far the best excursion we done in Puerto Plata. There is a 20-30 minute hike just a heads up but a 70 year in front of me rocked it out so if she can do it, you can do it! You have the option to jump about 20ft into the water or take a water slide down the falls. DONT THINK JUST DO!

    Our guide Tony was the best! Gave us lots of info on the native plants and local history. We were lucky to go on a day with no cruise ships. Had Tony as our private guide and only a few small groups behind us. First in the park and the water was pristine. If you aren't on a cruise excursion check boat schedule before going. Can be 1000+ tourists on a busy day. Jumps and slides exciting. Hike was moderate 20min for a couple of semi inshape 63 yo so don't let's y that scare you off. Ladders available if you chicken out. Highly recommended!

    Alfredo did a fantastic job of engaging our family during the drive from the cruise port to the waterfalls, and the entire group of young men that led our group through the rain forest to the falls were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and positive. Great trip overall, and highly recommended!

    A perfect day. we booked this trip as it was cheaper than booking through the cruise. it ended up just being us which was really nice. Junior, our driver was really nice. You also get a photographer that comes with you. Ours was JB and he was great. at the falls you get put into a very large group with a single guide. Most people just followed the pack and didn't have much guidance. Having JB with us like our own personal guide. He showed us different plants and trees and explained everything to us. Other people started walking with us so they could hear what he was telling us. Just a heads up, the photos are an upcharge at the end but they were way cheaper than i expected and well worth it. I would have paid the extra just for having him us the whole day to be our guide. As for the falls, it is a decent walk up so be prepared, but our three kids (6, 11, 13) had no problem with it. The jumps and slides are a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this excursion, and definitely ask for Junior and JB.

    Our day began with a punctual pick-up from our hotel at our chosen time, delivered by a delightfully amiable driver. He enriched our journey to the waterfalls by transforming it into a mini tour, sprinkling fascinating tidbits along the way. We were treated to shots of Mama Juana, a local delicacy, and handed a bottle of water to keep us refreshed during our hike. Once we completed our adventure, our reliable driver was there, ready to transport us back. Throughout it all, we were cocooned in safety and security. The entire experience was exhilarating, and the privacy of our ride further elevated our enjoyment.

    The waterfall excursion was great. But we were picked up by a couple guys in a mini van who took us to the excursion. One said he was our guide but he basically pointed us to a larger group that we joined with actual guides (and a LOT of people) and then he took pictures of us the whole time. I thought this was nice until we were in the car on the way back and he said that he is part of a photo group and he doesn’t get paid unless we pay him 120 for his photos. I said I just wanted to book the excursion and didn’t know anything about the photos. He was quiet the rest of the way and it was awkward. We told him we did not want to pay that for the photos and we just gave him a tip. I feel like it was not what we signed up for and was disappointed in this. I advise booking the waterfall excursion through someone else.

    The waterfalls are awesome but next time I'll pick a different tour operator. It was a constant money grab. I specifically asked if there was a safe place to put my phone if I wanted to bring it with me and he said he advised against it and I'd be responsible because the water is very deep. Then later I see him storing a phone for another couple in his dry bag, a couple he showered a lot of extra attention on because they promised him future business. Then we were stopped every 2 minutes to pose for photos he wanted to sell us at the end of the tour. It was very confusing he would tell us one thing and the guides something different. I don't mind the hustle but my idea of a good time is not constantly posing for pictures. Then afterwards he offered to take us to town for some "real" dominican food at our own expense. We jump out and walk around the corner only to find we are in a gift shop/jewelry store. Clearly a kickback situation. Then he takes us to a restaurant he claims is cheap, "4 people can eat for $20." I looked around on arrival and there wasn't a single local person eating, all tourists. He kept trying to convince one couple to buy the live lobster at $24/lb. Our tiny shrimp appetizer was $17 and our whole bill for 2 was $90. I pay this prices in my home beach town and at least I have air conditioning!! It was definitely a scam. JB disappeared for most of lunch and came back to the van reeking of weed. He was very disappointed we all requested to return to the ship. My guess is he had other additional cost activities in store for us.

    There is an uphill hike to the falls so good water shoes are a must. Adventurous day. Really fun tour. Alfredo was a great driver and tour guide. He took us through the city on our way back. Great experience.
