    We spent three days with our guide, Gabry Fortunato. He made every day special! Took us to several beautiful towns in Puglia, arranged a wine and charcuterie tasting, made tuk tuk arrangements in towns where walking was difficult, and gave us information about the history, culture and interesting facts about the region. His love for his region shines through! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He is also a good driver and knows how to get around all the narrow streets in the towns. We highly recommend him.

    We had a very good experience during our monumental, customised guided tour. Gabriele communicated with us days before our booking to customise this tour according to what we wanted to see and experience. We were able to see three towns and added a winery experience/tour and tasting as recommended by Gabriele. A lovely day was had by all, great weather and very good host. I highly recommend this activity as you are look after.

    Gabriel was a terrific guide. He gave us a thorough tour of Matera and Alberobello and was vary patient when there were was a lot of climbing and waiting for our group to keep up. A bonus was taking the back roads through Puglia and seeing the beautiful endless stretches of farmland and miles of perfectly crafted stone walls. The only downside was that the vehicle was a tight fit four five adults, one of them being 6' 3" but this did not detract from the experience.

    What a fantastic day we had with our guide/driver Gabri. Gabri is very knowledgeable on the Puglia region, providing commentary throughout the day on the history of the various locations we visited. We would never have been able to have had such a great experience of the region on our own, without Gabri. We highly recommend Gabri if you want a great day in the Puglia region.

    Everything about the day was more than we expected. Not enough words to describe how wonderful the day was. Gabry was amazing taking us to special places we would never have heard of or seen.

    I took this tour with my parents, while on a family vacation in Puglia. Gabry was a good tour guide, and explained everything in detail in both English and Italian. We didn’t have great weather, but the scenery was still beautiful. A great way to see Matera and Alberobello!

    Gabriele is very proud and passionate about his homeland. His insights, information and explanations enabled us to immerse ourselves in the areas we visited. We felt like we were visiting a friend rather than customers of a tour guide. We visited Alberobello, and gladly accepted Gabriele’s suggestion of also visiting a local family run vineyard and Polignano a Mare. Gabriele knew all the best spots to visit in Alberobello and Polignano and took some great photos for us. The family at the vineyard were warm and welcoming, the wine was great and the food which was paired with the wine was delicious and servings very generous. This is a fabulous day and will be a highlight of our 6 weeks spent in Italy. Thank you Gabriele!

    Where to begin! Let’s start with Gabry. Gabry was absolutely incredible, from start to finish as he made this a memorable tour. We started off with Gabry picking us up from the train station as our hotel was too far away (well worth it). After that he showed us all the stunning locations of Polignano a Mare. Gabry showed us places we’ve never would’ve found and history that made it all the more special. After Gabry customized our tour with an olive oil tasting and wine tasting. The wine tasting with different food dishes was so worth it as the food and wine were incredible. After some wine and olive oil we were ready to see Alberobello. Without Gabry we would’ve gone through the tourist area and been less impressed. The way Gabry took us showed us true trulli living and the history. We ended up our incredible day with seeing a location close to Gabry’s heart, Loco Rotondo. This may have been our favorite stop and it was a stop we never heard of or would’ve thought of. The neighborhood was beautiful, the gelato was delicious and of course we stopped for more wine in a vineyard. I cannot possibly write enough to explain how special this day was for us. Anyone reading this and wondering “is it worth it?” The answer is an overwhelming yes. Gabry truly made this a special experience and I believe we could call him our friend. Thank you Gabry for making our Italy trip a special one!

    Gabriele was great. He picked us up from polignano a mare. He was open to taking us where we wanted to go and also gave some great additions suggestions. We saw matera and alberrobello and had a wine tasting lunch in between. It was a perfect day.

    This is such a great way to see the area. We chose the day trip in order to see towns not easily reached by train and Gabriel was so kind to take us to both Matera and Alberobello but also suggest two other small beautiful towns we both agreed was the best of the trip. He also knows small roads around the country side that shows the beautiful Puglia. I would recommend this and talk to the guide about all the hidden gems of Puglia.
