    Our crew was amazing. We headed out to the middle of the peninsula, the captain killed the engine, and we waited. On the way out, he narrated the scale of activity in the atmosphere that would lead to the potential of sightings of the northern lights. While the rating was only a 3 out of 9, which means you have the potential to see some but often not as much to the naked eye, when the activity started happening, the energy of those on the trip went from 1 to 10 immediately. We were able to see a good 25 minutes of incredible lights, and the pictures we were able to take were phenomenal. Many complete strangers all experienced once in a lifetime opportunity together and those who took better pictures began texting them to others who weren’t as great on their phones. There was a snack and full bar with hot drinks as well, which were needed because we froze. Outside the boat was absolutely freezing. Make sure that you bring gloves, handwarmers, hats, scarves, and anything else you can do because I was only able to last about five minutes. I had to go back inside to defrost and then back out again for more pictures. I would give the crew a 10 out of 10.

    We were extremely fortunate to get such an amazing show of the lights. In addition the captain of the boat did a phenomenal job pointing them out at first before they were bright. Explaining what causes them. And how to get the best photos on your phone or camera of the lights. Also a good selection of wine, beer and other non-alcoholic drinks. The boat was well kept with plenty of seating. Just be sure to bundle up, the wind while moving makes it extra cold!

    The experience was amazing. We actually managed to get some pictures of the northern lights before the boat even left the dock, and the pictures only got better. The boat was extremely comfortable and the captain was amazingly informative and very entertaining.

    We have been the most lucky people as we have managed to witness the most incredible northern lights ever 😍 They were dancing above our heads and we didn't even need a camera to see them. This was such a emotional experience. We still can't believe how lucky we were to witness this.

    Oscar did an amazing job and we saw the aurora show we had been waiting for! The only suggestion I would have is to reduce the volume of the music or even stop it when we're approaching tye show because it was very hard to hear Oscar.

    No chance to see any Northern Lights , tour should have been cancelled! All other tours have been cancelled. We paid for nothing and had no chance to see any Northern Lights….

    It was a beautiful day not to book the cruise - sunny warm day, clear sky, and we asaumed that it will be nice to see the lights since all the signes ligned up for us. We booked the cruise the same day. It was a night cruise, so be prepared putting some layers , bring gloves, warmers, hats - it will be very windy and cold in the middle of the wayer at night. The bar on the boad was pretty good - drinks, snacks, hot noodles, coffee! We did see the lights !!

    Rating 4 stars because boarding boat was a bit chaotic. The yacht was much bigger than we realized - when we first walked in it seemed jammed, but there was no staff to explain that there were multiple areas to sit and stay warm AND to view the lights. Once we got our bearings it was a good trip. We didn’t see the Northern lights, but we knew that was a risk when we saw the weather report for the evening. Still a fun ride, and nice to see the harbour from the boat.

    Boat trip from Reykjavik harbour was slow, commentary was stilted and uninformative-like it was read from wiki. There was little or no chance of seeing the NL but the trip went ahead. There should be a refund facility not rebook when most people are only in the country for a few days and will have booked other trips anyway.

    We got very lucky and saw the lights. So beautiful. The boat was large and it was quite a small group so the boat was nice to explore with lots of room

    No lights and the boat wasn’t driven very far out so I don’t think it was worth the price bc I still think there was light pollution from the city.

    Third time was a charm! We went on this tour 3 times before we saw anything. The weather was not cooperating. It was super easy to rebook. Even without seeing the Northern Lights [first 2 times] , we still had a nice time on the boat.

    2nd time using this tour company and must admit the 1st time last year was much better. The tour guide was a young girl who was very talkative through and very knowledgeable, this year we had a gentleman who didn't really speak much. Unfortunately we didn't see the lights and the tour was cancelled the following 3 nights due to bad sea conditions which is such a shame. Overall of you get to experience the lights on the boat it's amazing but the guide definitely needs to be a bit more upbeat and talk.

    Captain stayed longer as when we were due to leave and go back to shore, the lights arrived, so he stayed an extra 30 minutes so we could all take photo’s. Great result
