Wonderful day with our guide Paulo! He picked us up at the hotel, we were only two with him. A real private tour! The forest is very beautiful, Paulo showed us very beautiful places, he knows the trails very well, we even saw monkeys♡. I recommend this excursion without hesitation!

Excellent tour

The little hike, view from the Chinese place, waterfalls and the cave. Love the nature walk and serenity of the place. Victor was great and interactive and informative. He dropped us off at Ipanema Beach to watch the sunset, it was nice of him.

The tour was exactly as described - we stopped at a waterfall, hiked for about 2 hours to see other waterfalls and caves, and then went to the lookout point. The hike was easy and we stopped at quite a few places to look around and take photos. We only took 600ml water each and I would suggest taking a liter because it is very humid in the forest.

Great trip! Beautiful waterfalls and cave. I was under the weather from too much carnaval the night before so I didn’t go into the water. Bring a swimsuit and towels. Rafael-out driver and tour guide is an engaging and knowledgeable pro!

Thoroughly enjoyable tour of Tijuca Forest

Really enjoyed the tour and despite the constant rainfall, Eduardo managed to get around all the key areas of the Tijuca Forest and showed us the beauty of this wonderful place. Poor value for money

Eduardo was friendly and enthusiastic but there wasn’t enough to see in the tour to justify the cost of it. The name given the tour is also misleading as there is very little walking involved so it certainly cannot be called a hike.

The most amazing day to see the other side of Rio

100% of the highlight of our trip to Rio. If you like hiking and being in the outdoors - this is the trip for you. Our guide Jalmir Brazil was amazing - he was knowledgable, fun and we learnt a lot about the region and life as a local. There was only 4 of us on the trip that day so it was super personal. Our trips consisted of 3 hikes/walks to incredible view points over looking Rio. It truly was the best guided trip we have been on!

Awesome Hike and Cool Views with a Friendly Tour Guide

Great experience for those who enjoy nature and like hiking! Henrique was a awesome guide! Super friendly and he showed up a great time. The hike might be a little challenging for some, but it wasn't too difficult. The views are the top were amazing. We also got to watch people hang gliding, which was so cool!

Sadly the Guide never picked us up for this tour so we didn’t get to do it. They did however try to book us for another tour but we were leaving rio the next day.

Our tour guide, Daniel, picked us up just down the street from our airbnb. It was only me and my two boys and it felt like we got an exclusive tour of Rio de Janeiro. Our first stop was at the very top of a mountain where people go hang gliding. From there we took a hike up to a different part of the mountain where the views were indescribable. We saw "Coati's". These little animals look like a cross between a badger and a ring - tailed lemur. We were a little scared because they walked so close to us but they were very friendly. Then we went to a massive cave. Multiple waterfalls! We went swimming and cruised through the national park. We had limited time to spend in Rio de Janeiro and we were extremely grateful to have got to experience it. We felt extremely safe and comfortable during the entire tour. Daniel even went out of his way to drop us off at our airbnb. For those that are on the fence, just book the tour! I promise it's worth every penny, you'll have a great time. Just make sure to bring water and swimming trunks!

Excellent from start to finish. Bernardo was awesome and very flexible and knowledgeable, and safe driver. Clean vehicle with AC. Suggest you bring bug spray and rain jacket just in case. Pickup was easy and one-time.

We were picked up on time from our hotel with just the 4 of us with our guide, we were given the option of hiking through the forest or driving to the key spots, our group decided to hike it was hard work in the humidity but it was so worth it. So lush and green, with lots of waterfalls and caves - pictures don’t do it justice.
