      Host was not hosting at all. All self guided through listening on app on phone. Didn’t stipulate to bring own ear/headphones to listen on on booking details clearly Could only see part of colosseum levels. Very poor experience and I have had a tour before here which was unforgettable whereas this I would rather forget about

      Really disappointed with this purchase, didn't get support from the operator, just send me tickets and left me at the entrance, weather was terrible and I asked to cancel, but she said there is no cancellation for this. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED.

      Sadly I cannot recommend this tour. The "self guided" app was poor, and it was hard to navigate the colosseum/forum etc in an order that made sense. It felt like we got very little for the extra they are charging on top of regular tickets. I would recommend paying extra for a guided tour that is more interactive and informative.

You had the service you booked: a skip the line , an audio guide and a host who helped you finding your way around .the extra charges include taxes ,commissions,and the service provision at the meeting point. We invite you to join one of our semi private tours with a licensed guide to get more information, instead of A.I. audio guide .

      No your guide. Not much access as other tours of coliseum. They give you entrance tickets and say ciao!

      We are deeply sorry to learn that you have not been satisfied with your visit to the colosseum. But we need to clarify some issues : Our experience is specially dedicated to people who don’t like being in guided tours and those who choose the economic way to visit the monument. On the reservation it is clearly mentioned that it s a self guided visit You booked a ticket for the colosseum and the Ancient Rome at 13.30 You had it in time You had an audio guide about the colosseum and the Ancient Rome. The hosts were there ,they waited for you to finish your snacks. Time was running out. The host gave you a small introduction and some tips to find your way around,and went with you till the entrance of the colosseum you did not line up You had a skip the option . You had the service you booked .
      Great Self Guided Audio Tour

      Great visit. Very easy to find the rep who explained access and locations and provided a map. Also said they would be there for a few hours for other meetings if we needed to return and ask questions (don’t forget you need some formal identification to get in where they match name to ticket). Rep took us to the fast track entrance and showed us how to access self guided audio tour which was great. Would advise a break between Colosseum and the Hill and Forum as it would be very long session. Hill and Forum access was for 24 hours so could easily return. Great experience.

      Exactly what we wanted. Easy self guided tour. Met to pick up tickets. They were very nice and then walked us to entrance with clear instructions of what to expect for the coliseum, palatine hill and forum. We didn’t use the audio guide for the coliseum.

      Worth the extra money

      Booking the ticket this way, where you have a guide to give you a map, tell you the ins & outs of the tour and how to move from the Colosseum to Palentine Hill, and the Forum was amazing. They were so kind, helpful with my questions, gave me a map and helped me download their app for information, and walked me right to the line. Definitely worth the extra money for the piece of mind.

      Only good part was we didn't have to wait in line for tickets. I would not recommend using Viator - there are plenty of 3rd party tour companies out there.

      This experience they just walk you to the entrance. They did offer an app to listen to. We just walked around on our own. Was grateful to get access to the attic in colosseum

      Der Preis für das Ticket mag abschreckend sein, aber als ich die Schlange um 9:00 Uhr früh am Ticketschalter gesehen hab, war ich heilfroh, dass mich eine nette Dame bereits 10 min vor Termin ausführlich informiert hat und mich direkt zum Eingang führte. Innerhalb weniger Minuten stand ich bereits im Kolosseum. Beim Eingang zum Palatin mussten wir dann dennoch 15 Minuten anstehen. Alles in allem waren wir 3 Stunden unterwegs für diese Tour
