Highly recommend the private tour.

Roberto was an excellent guide. He was a wealth of knowledge and shared very interesting facts about the key pieces we had time to see. Skip the line means just that. We passed hours of waiting. At the end of the tour, I was pouring rain. I was looking for a place to get some good Spaghetti Carbonara and he called a friend to make sure his place was open. The restaurant was on his way so he walked me there and I traduced me to the owner. And meal was great.

Roberto from made in Rome tours was absolutely fanatic. Traveling with my sister and elderly mom, he took the time to ensure the pace was perfect and we were safe in a crowded space. His knowledge of the frescos , statues etc were so helpful in understanding the background.

Sante, our private tour guide, made our tour completely perfect. He is a wealth of knowledge and prepped us well. He knew many nooks and crannies to get us into where we were away from the crowds. Therefore many of our photos do not have other people in them. We got into a couple of private places of the Vatican museum so we could view the stunning art at our leisure. Sante answered every question we had and is a true historian of Roman culture and Christianity; explaining the priceless art in understandable terms for us novices!

Luigi the guide was formidable. He has a vast knowledge of the history of the Vatican and the Vatican. He gave us a detail explanation of everything we saw. He was courteous and friendly. We we’re able to stay closed to the thumb of Saint Peter!!

We had tours throughout Italy and Greece on our trip and this was by far the BEST tour we've been on. The beauty of the Vatican City is self-explanatory and applies to any tour of the area. However this tour was incredible because of our guide Juliano. The tour included Italian croissants and coffee at a cafe and both the food and coffee was incredibly good and tasty! Pleasantly surprised by how incredible the coffee was, which gave us a great start for our morning tour. Juliano was very knowledgeable, managed to pace the tour very well for us, and he demonstrated great patience in answering all our questions. He did all this with a smile and made an effort to point out great spots to take pictures for us and took some great shots of our group! He also gave us time on our own to explore the Sistine Chapel leisurely. Juliano and this tour should get 8 stars out of 5, just amazing tour! Thank you/Gracie!

We had a private tour conducted by Giuliano and it was the best part of our entire trip! Not only was it extremely easy to find the check in (compared to other tours that have you stand at a random corner), but we were able to promptly enter, enjoy our time sipping on wine and see all of the available sights. We did not feel rushed and having a small group allowed us to actually hear Giuliano and ask questions. He was very passionate about his city and it showed. This is a must if you are visiting Rome!!!

An wonderful experience and very informational. We were able to get in and went ahead of everyone. We didn’t wait on line not once through the entire tour. The Prosecco was a nice touch and perfectly timed while we discussed the Sistine Chapel since you may not talk inside. Giuliano was absolutely a perfect tour guide and host.

Marco did a great job of explaining the Sistine Chapel. Even though we had been there multiple times we learned new info, and it was done in a way that our 2 grandsons found interesting. Marco was personable as well as knowledgeable, and his English was perfect. He was great at interacting with the boys. The tour was too short as we did not have time for the Raphael rooms, but we enjoyed our "break" with drinks and snack that is included. We had no wait, but did have about a 5min walk uphill to get to the museum. We had booked but not paid, so we needed to go to the office.
