Get your chills and thrills in the Eternal City with this haunted walking tour through Rome. Join your guide as evening falls to stroll down shadowy streets, through empty squares, and across cursed bridges while you listen to tales of executions and murders over the centuries. Use your divining rods to pick up ghostly evidence of past emperors, heretics, and witches who are said to still wander the city.

What's Included

Your guide will teach you how to use dowsing rods to search for ghosts.
Small groups of 15 people or less help us ctreate a séance like atmosphere.
Every experience is personally curated by the founders of More of Rome, Dimitri and Emanuela.

Meet the guide at the end of the Bridge of Angels (Ponte Sant'Angelo) in front of the Castel Sant'Angelo Castle. Your guide will be holding a “MORE OF ROME” sign. The check-in begins 15 minutes before the beginning of the tour. Please be there on time. We will not wait for the latecomers.

Super interesting tour with a lot of history. More of a spooky story tour vs. ghost but did not disappoint! Our guide was engaging and one of the best ghost tours we’ve been on. Highly recommend as it’s a different way to see Rome vs. normal tourist attractions.

This COULD have been a really fun experience, filled with creepy stories while standing at the places where those events took place. But, our guide struggled a bit with English, and lacked the ability to really engage us. (Note to Viator: theatre students/actors would be perfect for this.) It WAS a nice night for a walk, however, and the other tourists were very nice — and we saw some places we would not have otherwise. So, we all agree, we’d rate it a “C” overall.

We absolutely loved this tour and cannot recommend it enough! Was full of great stories about little buildings we would have otherwise just walked past! Got more out of 5 minutes of this tour than we did out of much longer tours of key sites! Bryan is such a lovely guy and will keep you engaged and laughing the whole time. Please go on this tour! You won’t regret it!

If you’re American, 💯 Book with Bryan Jansing. He’s half from Here, Half from the U.S. Not being Critical of ANY Italian Guides, but sometimes things just get lost in translation for folks that aren’t B/R in the U.S. Meanwhile, he’s Hilarious and tells a Helluva story!

Fun night hearing about the Roman dark side

This tour was a fun way to end the evening for my 18 year old daughter and me. Our guide, Bryan, was fun, funny and very knowledgeable. He is what made the tour a 5 for us . While the tour touches on ghostly characters along the way, that portion is limited compared to the interesting facts and stories about the “dark side” of some of the figures and events of days long gone by. I believe each spot (or almost each) touched on a ghoul that came out of the historical fact. The tour might better be called Tales from the Roman Dark Side (and the Ghosts that linger). It was all very interesting and entertaining to hear about. But, if you are a die hard fan of ghost stories, you might be somewhat disappointed.

It was enjoyable, but in no way can this be classed as a 'Ghost Tour' . Yes, a few of the stories were about ghosts, but that probably made up 15% of it. It was more a 'Unusual and interesting facts Tour' , enjoyable for the information and the host was knowledgeable, but not what we were expecting.
