Built in 80 A.D., the Colosseum was the stage for gladiator fights performed for Roman emperors. See the tiered seating area, corridors, and underground rooms where gladiators and animals prepared for deadly fights.
Next, see the remaining mosaics and frescoes in the Emperor's Palace, which sits atop of Palatine Hill. Then, visit the Roman Forum, the center of government for the Roman Empire. Walk past the ruins of the Senate House, the Temple of Julius Caesar, the Triumphal Arches, and other important buildings, hearing about their history from your guide.
Your tour concludes at the Roman Forum after three hours.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we learnt a lot of history. The queues are chaotic so we were glad to have skipped the queues. Would really recommend this tour.

This tour was not inexpensive but it was worth every penny. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and interesting. He made history come to life and even brought some pictures to help us visualize the way things looked back when they were made. This tour was a trip highlight
