    This was our favorite tour in Rome and could not have been our more enjoyable. Our guide Paolo showcased the area in such a fun and informative way. From reenacting gladiator fights to showing the best picture locations. An absolute must do in Rome, Paolo is the best in the business.

    Emily was an amazing guide and was very knowledgeable and kept the group engaged during the approx 3 hour excursion. The Colosseum was very crowded even in November and I felt like a guided tour was the easiest route to see the highlights. She also guided us to free toilets mid excursion which was great!

    Very good information on the Colosseum .Would have liked more time for photos in the colosseum.Spent more time in the Roman Forum and Palatine hill than in the Colosseum.

    I thought Susana, our guide, did a great job on giving us background of the Colosseum and was very knowledgeable. The tour was worth it - not only because what you learn, but because of the time you save from skipping lines and having someone that knows the area. Also - my wife who wasn’t thrilled about the 3-hour tour - she loves every aspect of it and thought it was worth her time and went incredible smooth!

    Enjoyed walking thru the Roman Forum, emperor’s House and the Coliseum. Barbara led a small group (14) very well and her English is excellent. The meeting point at the Arch of Constantine was easy to find.

    Colosseum was ok but for me highlights were mostly in the palatine hill part of the tour very informative and interesting…. Ready did avoid most of the ques and host was knowledgeable

    Rushed and disappointing

    Do not recommend, just get a much cheaper audio guide so you can go at your own pace and actually enjoy what you are seeing. The guide rushed us through the sites, right past interesting view points, & did not take us into the Roman Forum lower area at all (which you cannot re-enter unless you buy another entry ticket). She was definitely knowledgeable, but it was information overload, far more than anyone could absorb in three hours, and it was constant, giving us no time to take in the incredible sights, let alone take a nice photo. We did at least finish the tour within the Colosseum, so could properly enjoy that site, but it was incredibly disappointing to pay quite a lot of money and not even enter one of the areas, just be talked at about it from above, barely able to see the spaces being referred to, then hurried off to the next thing. Really regret doing this tour, they are trying to cram too much into three hours and it needs to be organised differently, either a longer tour or not offered all in one package but split into tours of each space, so visitors aren't left feeling they missed out on half of the experience, as there is no indication in the booking information that you'll be rushed through, and most people who choose a guided tour would not be familiar enough with the size of the sites beforehand to realise this would be the case.

    Knowledgeable local tour guide. A fascinating tour of the Colosseum, didn't feel rushed. A pretty quick tour of Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, but then you are welcome to spend as much extra time there at the end as you would like.

    Overall this tour was decent especially the Colosseum part of it. After that though, it felt a bit more rushed going through Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. I felt there was less explanation about the items and history of Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum and more just general Roman history storytelling that wasn't always specific to where we were at the moment. The good thing is that the tour ended in the Roman Forum so that you can spend more time on your own and look up details yourself.

    We enjoyed this tour immensely. Barbara, our guide, had a great expertise about all the sites we were seeing. She answered all our questions thoroughly and with great patience. Barbara was very organized and engaging. We visited the floor of the Colosseum to the top. We went through Palatine Hill and the Forum. It is just such an amazing experience to walk thru Antiquity.
