What To Expect

After making your own way to the Cabrillo Isle Marina in San Diego Harbor, your guide welcomes you to your speed boat adventure.

Start off with a safety briefing taught by your professional guide, followed by a lesson on hand signals and boating rules. You’ll navigate and your own F13 speed boat for the entirety of the tour, following the lead of your guide who sets the pace in a different boat. Your boat is equipped with a two-way communication systems that allows you to hear your guide throughout the tour. If you want to change drivers you may do so at any of the brief stops.

Set out on your roughly 13-mile (20-km) spin around San Diego Harbor, which includes several stops for photo ops and a closer look at points of interest throughout the harbor. Enjoy close views from your vantage point on the water of US Navy ships and aircraft carriers such as the USS Midway, home to a museum that offers insights into the history of this famous vessel. Zip over to see the famous vessel the Star of India, one of several historic ships berthed at the San Diego Maritime Museum. You'll also pass the Coronado Bridge, Seaport Village, the cruise ship terminal, and have excellent views of the downtown skyline and possibly the sea lions that live in these waters.

Choose from four departure times in the morning and afternoon for your tour of San Diego Harbor. You can also opt to depart from Coronado Island.

David was an amazing tour guide ! His instructions on how to operate the speed boat were clear and easy to understand. He was so friendly and gave us the freedom to venture out in appropriate areas. I would 10000% recommend to anyone visiting San Diego .

Exactly what is was looking for! A small, but very fast speedboat rental and a tour guide to show us around the San Diego Harbor and bay. Great tour. This adventure is really a must-do for any visiting San Diego. Most fun I had all vacation besides SeaWorld! Thanks Keoni, you were the best guide possible!

Keoni was simply the best guide!!! Wonderful amazing experience!!! My daughter had a blast! The weather was cool so dress warm but watching the sunset was so amazing. Flying over the water was fabulous!

We had a good time! Total time on the water was closer to an hour and 90min total. We loved seeing the sea lions, ships and old ships. It would have been great to get closer to the bridge. We had expected 2hrs total and there seemed to be time.

This tour was definitely enjoyable for our whole family. It was our first time on speedboats. I was okay with the picture of the speedboats that were on the picture when I booked. But when we arrived at our tour, the speedboats we got were bigger and newer. Great surprise!! I felt like we got an upgrade. They were fast enough to feel like we could really go fast if we wanted to. And we were given some time to really have some fun with the boats. They took us on a little tour and learned some history that we didn't know. I liked our tour guide. They were knowledgable, savy with the boats, and very friendly. It exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend for a family with teenage boys and young adults looking for some fun!

Must go, David was amazing. Start to finish, he made the entire experience so much fun! Go!!!! All the reviews are true, plus you get to learn a lot about different parts of San Diego without having to walk around! The boat is a thrill and a great activity to do. You can go fast or you can go at a easier pace for you , either way it’s fantastic!

My name is Khamsouk and my wife and I had a very unfortunate experience with your business on 7/7/2023. My wife and I booked your boat experience and during this experience our instructor neglected us several times and even left us out on the dock while he called in every other group. During our time on the water we realized that our instructor went to every couple to check on them except for us. At the end of our time he had called every couple then after waiting for 10 minutes on the dock my wife fearfully decided to get off the boat by herself, risking getting into the water to go seek help because I cannot swim well in the oceans. Once she actually found our guide he was about to head out the door to leave for the day and laughed about neglecting us in the dock. We expressed that he forgot about us and he laughed while we were genuinely fearful. We then asked to speak to the lady at the front desk who did not take our situation or fear seriously and brushed off the situation reassuring that this is okay when it is not. We are very disappointed, offended, and upset about this incident and how we were treated. We were neglected, left alone, and in fear and no one took our situation seriously. We also recorded the situation for our own safety due to the neglect we experienced and are seeking assistance regarding this situation as it is unfair for anyone to ever experience this. A little adrenaline

This was a great trip. Unlike any I have ever done. It was fast pace, fun and a little scary (in a good way). Definitely got the adrenaline pumping a few times. Keoni was our tour guide and he was fun, funny and knowledgeable.

The boats were very easy to operate. Johnny gave a great tour of the Bay and instructions on how to operate the boat. It was a very exciting adventure. The boats can go very fast fast. You have to try it if you’re in San Diego. Hopefully you will have Johnny as your guide.
