Cycle through San Francisco and across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge on this guided bike tour. Led by a local guide, you’ll ride along the waterfront, passing Fisherman’s Wharf and the historic Presidio. Then admire the city skyline from the Golden Gate Bridge, with views of Alcatraz and the long stretch of the Pacific on the opposite side. Your tour will conclude in Sausalito or Tiburon, where you can explore before taking the ferry back to San Francisco. Your bike rental is valid for 24 hours to continue sightseeing on your own.

Your bike excursion will begin at Fisherman’s Wharf, where you’ll meet with your guide and receive a brief safety orientation. Your bike is equipped with a helmet, bell and lock, as well as storage racks and a city map with route recommendations.
Take off on a flat path past the Palace of Fine Arts and Crissy Field. Your guide will provide historical background for the sites and neighborhoods as you go, giving rich context to the scenery around you. Travel through the Presidio District, a park and former military base, before making your way to the Golden Gate Bridge.
Soak up the incredible scenery as you pedal across the city’s most prominent landmark. Enjoy the safety of a designated bike path as you look out on panoramic views of the Bay, Alcatraz Island and the sparkling Pacific Ocean on the opposite side of the bridge.
Conclude your tour with a downhill ride into the beloved town of Sausalito. Hop off your bike and explore the area at your own pace, grabbing lunch at a restaurant on the waterfront, perusing the boutiques and galleries or continuing your ride to Tiburon, another popular destination along the Bay.
Enjoy the option of biking back to San Francisco or taking the ferry from either Sausalito or Tiburon. Your bike rental is valid for 24 hours to give you plenty of time to explore.

What a fantastic way to see the Golden Gate bridge (and surrounding area) by cycling over it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had tips for the best places to get photos.
One thing I would say is, if you aren't confident on a bike or haven't used one for years, go with the electric bike option as one member of our party struggled to keep up!

We had a great experience on the Golden Gate Bridge tour! On the way to the bridge, our guide told us a lot about how San Francisco began and grew through the years, along with the history of the neighborhoods and landmarks we passed. Sausalito was beautiful; unfortunately, we had to leave early to catch our flight home and did not get to explore it as much as we would have liked. We chose the e-bike option; would definitely recommend. We did not need the assist for most of the ride, but when we did it was easy to use and much appreciated!

The Irish guy Adam was a great tour guide, for someone that’s only been here for two months giving tours he sure knew a lot about the area, and love listening to his stories about Ireland was great too at the warming hut, entire experience was awesome, decided not to take the ferry back and just ride the bikes around to our leisure back to the starting point it was a blast
