Just OK...
bayshuttle, May 2024
Let me start by saying that our tour guide Valentina was awesome...just as our driver! We bought a tour where we were promissed no more then 15 people with a specific itinerary: none of it was the case! That's a minus. In the other hand, you get what you pay for...so, we weren't very surprised to find out that there were about 40 people and it took and hour to collect all the people...in a very organized fashion, I gotta add. The tour itself was fine: Valentina kept it all together))) The first stop at the vine tasting is a joke -- basically a bathroom brake and a big store! Who tastes wines at 9am? Valparaiso was fun...a nice walk in an artsy district, etc. No time to visit anything. Vina del Mar -- lunch stop in a restaurant, fine, but overpriced for some folks on the tour, for sure. Then 45 free time to walk on the beach. Then trip back to Santiago. P.S. I would still do it even if I knew all the minuses. It sure served the purpose for the money!
Tour em Valparaiso

I hired a Tour with a Guide in Portuguese and for small groups of up to 15 people. The Tuor was done on a bus with more than 30 people and the Guide did not speak Portuguese. The Guide was very hardworking, but I do not accept non-compliance with the contract.
100% recomendado

Jaime is one of the nicest and informative tour guides Yadira and I have ever had the pleasure to meet. On time, so informative and funny. Took us to wonderful places and a great Peruvian inspired restaurant. While in Santiago don't miss Jaimes tour. 10/10. Sincerely Clarence and Yadira/ Compassion ❤️
Great trip and really great guide
Tracey_W, Apr 2024
Edison was a great guide, he kept us entertained on the way with lots of information about the history of Chile, the region and all the things we were seeing around us. He really looked after us and was very professional making sure we were all where we should be, when we should be. I speak only a little Spanish but he explained everything perfectly in both languages. The street art part of the tour was great, we had time to go up the elevator and explore a little on our own. I would have liked some information about some of the art but I understand the guide needed to stay with the van at times.. The wine tasting stop was a little bit boring as it was really just a stop at a shop selling overpriced stuff and there was no information about the wines. I don’t really like wine so I could be biased. :) I liked having time on the beach. I bought my lunch with me so was able to spend the whole hour and a half on the beach and in the beach bar having a beer which was a great end to a great day.
Not very memorable
Davis_T, Apr 2024
The only part of the tour that was worthwhile was the town of Valparaiso. The wine tasting is basically a store / bathroom break. You drive by Casablanca. Not worth mentioning. Reñaca was where we had lunch. It was ok food but not worth traveling 2 plus hours too.

Guides English was very hard to understand - we gave up asking for repeated clarifications. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Informative Tour
connieharrigan, Apr 2024
The tour was really informative and we will definitely recommend this tour to some friends. We got to see the best of the other cities outside of Santiago.
Good trip
Paula_M, Apr 2024
It was good. The bus could be more fast. But group ..driver and the tourist Guide were very good . The history of the city is very rich. It must be always be visited.
Great time

Was able to communicate effectively and plan out pick up times. Was very informative and attentive considering the location.
See the Moai, and museum....
Molly_G, Mar 2024
See the Moai, and museum. Restaurant was over priced. Food was limited, no ac on the vehicle for a long travel tide.
Pick up time not honored
Yashwant_K, Mar 2024
The tour was nice as mentioned in the package. However, I picked a 8.00 am start time due to late arrival the night before. However, we were notified the evening before that pick up will be. 700am ( one hour before scheduled pick up time). When I requested that I be picked around 800 am I was told that will not be possible. Too late to order boxed breakfast. Not too happy with one hour early pick up. Guide was good. Seats were very uncomfortable. We were a total of 6 persons. .

With booking this excursion months prior I was told that Hilton Garden Airport Santiago was a pick up point. When it got closer to the tour they said we had to come into the city to meet our transportation. I did not speak the language. Unacceptable.
Meh. You get what you pay for
Jose_B, Mar 2024
Take it for transportation purposes. There’s really not much explanation. Bring a 100 pesos coin as the guide gave me a hard time because I didn’t bring cash for an elevator in Valparaiso, I borrowed with a tourist peer, even tough there’s no warning in advance. There was no wine tasting. And the restaurant for lunch is picked by the driver, it was average with prices in the high end. I would take the more expensive option of tours, for transport only it’s ok for the price. Tip: contrary to what you might think, Valparaiso and viña are cold, so bring a jacket!
Fantastic Eclectic Tour of Rich History, Vibrant Colors, and Quirky
Paul_L, Mar 2024
This tour provides an outstanding value. If you like an eclectic experience of diverse venues, convergence of old sites of historical value and an explosion of color and quirky, and have that peppered with a great meal by the ocean, this is your ticket. Neruda's museum reminded me of Ernest Hemingway's home in Key West with the resident cats roaming about. There is a great photo op of the city at the musuem and some interesting metal artwork. There are some nearby street vendors with homemade crafts and I bought a great one of a kind homemade shaw with custom needlework that was classy, but very inexpensive. Valparaiso captured the sensories with colorful and intriguing expressive mural artwork. Our stop in Reneca included a beachfront restaurant where we ate Pippin Fish with an ocean view. We walked over to the beach for a stroll before we left to return back to Santiago. Our tour guide, Alexis, was excellent. He was exceptionally professional, attentive, customer-centric, and well studied in the sites we visited.
10 out of 10 recommend!
Amy_S, Mar 2024
Jaime was very knowledgeable about the regions we visited. He was helpful in pointing things out and explaining. He is super nice and funny, and pick up and drop off from our hotel was a very convenientbonus!!
Good day trip outside Santiago
alvira_k, Mar 2024
Wonderful tour to get out of Santiago and see more of Chile. Our guide was great. We love the personal touch when she took our pictures and WhatsApp to the group - great memories.
Feel free to book
Ivana_N, Mar 2024
Great tour, highly recommended! The only thing that was disappointing was the first stop for breakfast, it is actually a mix of a bar-shop-wine tasting facility, something like a hughe warehouse. The guide, Valentina, was excellent! Very accommodating for her group with very good English!

Rakesh_B, Mar 2024
The Valparaiso stops for views and street art etc were interesting. Vina del Mar tour was also a nice city and the guide gave us lots of information about the history and culture during the tour. The Casablanca part of the tour was average as we did not want to taste wine at 9am!
Tour guide & driver carried the day
rebecca_h, Mar 2024
Lovely tour guide thanks Alex. Valparaiso seemed a bit tired and jaded but it was a dull day. Alex was great showing us around and telling the stories. Could have done without the wine stop and perhaps find a better one? Great company on the trip though and lunch was ok. Reasonable trip for the price.
Super good value day tour to Valparaiso
Simon_D, Mar 2024
Edison gave us a great tour experience giving interesting information and showing us interesting places. The recommendation for lunch was also very good and we had a superb pork lunch.
