The tour will start from the “Old Port of Fira” which is accessible only by cable car 6€ /per way (depart every 15 mins.) or by walking down the steps (30 mins walking). The meeting point is at "Santo Star" office at the old port.We expect all customers to arrive 30 mins prior the departure time.

Make your own way to the old port of Fira in Santorini and board the boat for the journey to Santorini Volcano.
Upon arrival, step ashore and follow your guide on a walk along the volcanic path, while they provide background information on the island’s geological wonders. Continue to the volcano's summit (additional admission fee), take in the sweeping views of this otherworldly landscape.
After returning to the boat, the next stop is the island of Palea Kameni, home to hot springs. There’s enough time here to swim to the thermal waters and soak up their healing properties.
After a boat ride back to Santorini, your tour ends with a drop-off at the old port of Fira.

- Dark color swimsuits are recommendable, in order to avoid stains from the sulphur.
- To avoid any delays we advise our customers to be at the cable car or start walking down the steps, 45 minutes prior their departure.

- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We very much enjoyed swimming in the open water by the hot springs and it was interesting to hear the history of the Volcano. Our guide was informative. Sailing on the old boat was enjoyable.
The cable car was shut down due to the high winds so we managed to experience what seemed like a more authentic side of Greece, that is - seeing the donkeys taking guests to the top of Fira!

This was such a great trip for the price. Perfect amount of time to see the two sites. The unfortunate part was we went during not so good weather. It was cold and insanely unrelentless winds that made the boat trip a bit scary but we were in good hands with our great crew and we felt safe. It was nice to have a mini guide of the volcano to give us background info about it and plenty of time to explore. I didn’t get to enjoy the hot springs because of the cold and intense winds but others did and said it wasn’t so hot but it was nice.

Visiting Volcano was the most memorable exoerience, all was perfect except the time for swimming in hot springs, i am suggesting to extend the time.

Thank you very much to the captain who returned my handbag that I left on the boat for your honesty and kindness. It had my passport, cash, credit cards, car key, house key and I wouldn’t have been able to return home today if it wasn’t for you! I enjoyed the tour, although I didn’t do the swim
in hot spring as the water was too cold. I’d like to return to Santorini in the summer and join this cruise again.

The tour was exactly what we expected based on the Information given and the other reviews. As stated by others, the visit to the volcanic island was a bit rushed, but otherwise it was a nice trip.

Excellent value for boat ride and tour to 2 sites, the volcanic crater and thermal waters. Tour guide was knowledgeable and accompanied group to crater. Presented story and background of volcano in interesting, informative way and provided clear instructions on times to return to boat. Path down to meet tour boat is littered with donkey poo. Recommend taking the cable car on return journey.

Great tour, our tour guide was very lovely as she explained rhe history of the Santorini volcano. The whole excursion was very well planned and they gave you enough time to get pictures at all the best spots.

The experience is absolutely unforgettable! We embarked on the boat wary of the blanket of fog that covered the sea, obscuring any hint of the islands. Yet as we arrived at the volcano, the fog cleared and gave way to a stunning view of the town of Fira sitting atop a cliff on one side, and a vast body of volcanic rock on the other. The entry fee to the volcanic island was 5 Euros, but the experience was invaluable. The tour guide provided us with abundant information on the history of the Minon volcanic explosion, formation of Santorini, and theories behind the connection to Atlantis... Initially I was wary of receiving a lecture like in a classroom during a holiday, but it proved to be the most interesting lesson I ever had! The hike along the path and sights of islands beyond the horizon projected the impression of a prehistoric world.
The highlight of this tour was undoubtedly the swim to the hot springs. Taking the plunge into the waters of the Aegean Sea was as breathtaking an experience as I have ever had. It had been a few years since I had last swam at all, but I reasoned that I could not miss out on this opportunity. The swim paid off, the only regret being that it was too short.
This tour is totally recommended for an unforgettable experience at Santorini!!!
