Overview

What To Expect

Make your own way to the meeting point in Kamari. After meeting your guide and small group of fellow travelers, jump aboard the bus and head for your first stop, Canava Roussos.

After exploring the traditional winery of Canava Roussos and sampling some of its wines, continue on to the Santorini Wine Museum. Located on the grounds of the Koutsogiannopoulos winery, the museum provides in-depth insights into the history of winemaking in Santorini and also offers tastings.

Your final stop is Venetsanos Winery, which has a superb setting overlooking the Santorini caldera. Discover this winery’s history and traditions, as well as its new winemaking techniques, while sipping its wines.

Your tour ends after a short drive back to Kamari.

Three beautiful wineries with excellent hosts. The guide Chrisa was delightful and knowledgeable! We had light snacks at each place. Lots of information about how grapes are grown on a volcanic island. I met lovely people from Scotland and Germany. Delicious wines at each place. Would come again next time!

We aren’t huge wine buffs or anything, but I knew that Santorini wines are really special from a prior trip to santorini. I couldn’t remember much about the wine, just that I liked it much better than anything else I’ve tried before. At first I was disappointed we wouldn’t be going to the winery I had visited before, but the tour guide told me that that specific winery has amazing views but c-tier wine. Venetsanos winery has both the views AND the incredible wine. We ended up buying 3 bottles from there as well as a bottle of Vinsanto from Canava Roussos. Plus we met some great people! I would do this trip again with other family members just because santorini wines are really something else.

We had a fantastic experience with Christa as our guide and Stefano as our driver. A unique experience and well worth doing with a great mix of wineries that combines great views, history and good tasting wines! This was a highlight of our time in Santorini.

Christas was a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable and accommodating. You get a lot for the price of the tour; the wineries are absolutely stunning and you really get a true understanding of how Santorini wine originated. There a delicious snacks served at each spot-nothing big, so I would recommend eating prior. Highly recommend!

Had such a wonderful time on this tour! Chrisa was amazing, so fun and bubbly! She and the other people with us, made the experience really memorable! Got to see some of the island as we drive from place to place and felt we got a good variety of wines. Maybe could use a few more snacks with the first 2 tastings, but overall would definitely recommend!

Our tour guide was fantastic 10/10, Chrisa. However, we were slightly disappointed in the amount of wine we actually got to drink. The wines were good but it would have been nice to get a little more than what was given.

Our hotel checkout was at 11am and our flight was not until 6:15pm. So, we have a few hours to spare and with short notice we decided to book this wine tour. We are glad we did! The tour was from 11:30am to 3:30pm, including travel time. We had a wonderful tour guide, Chrisa. She was very knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. The tour exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Actually found this to be much more fun and interesting than I anticipated. The Wine Museum was interesting and the view of the caldera from the other side of the island (we stayed in Oia) at one of the wineries was well worth the visit there . Wine making much different than my experience in the US. Chrisa was personable and fun and gave good info about the island as a whole.

This experience was absolutely amazing! While there isnt much food there is amazing wine paired with amazing views. From luxury to history to local - all things wine!! It's a great way to see the island and learn and laugh along the way. Our guide was Chrisa and she was fun, outgoing, and knowledgeable and truly took out experience to the next level!
