    Such a great trip!

We had such a good time with Susan! She knew all the best places to take us hiking and showed us very cool things. And the lunch she provided was fantastic!
    Beautiful Views/Terribly managed excursion
    Keisha_J, Apr 2024
The views on this tour are unmatched, breathtaking, and are once in a lifetime views. With that being said there are numerous other reasons for my two star review. My background…i use this app to book all kinds of excursions across the country…there for I have certain expectations and am accustomed to certain things. First…for almost $200 I would expect to be picked up in a better vehicle. Not one that has been in an accident, interior having not been cleaned since it was purchased, and malfunctioning brake lights. Second…with this type of tour being a 12 occupant tour there should be more than one guide. Too many dangers associated with the snow trekking and hikes that follow to only have one guide. Maybe drop the occupancy down to 6 occupants with one guide. Third….no need for the guide to provide the occupants food…and lack luster food at that. You can do a stop on the way for us to get proper snacks. And then after the snow shoe trek occupants can buy hot meals at the visitor center cafeteria. Cold food from your lunch kit just doesn’t cut it after a snow hike. Fourth…update your equipment that you let occupants use….shouldn’t be a hodge podge of passed down ski poles. Fifth…educate the occupants on how to properly adhere the snow shoes to their shoes (also make note on your tour page of proper footwear needed for the tour based on the time of year) and also how to adjust the height if the ski poles. Sixth….instruct your occupants on how to navigate through the snow in the snow shoes (navigating through the snow changes with the condition of the snow especially if it is fresh snow) and work slowly with occupants as this may be their first time trying such an excursion. Seventh….do not lead your occupants into unsafe terrain just because you want the occupants to get their “monies worth”…..if the conditions are not safe for the tour to pass through certain hiking trails accept that and explain that to the group. We would much rather walk away from a hike with a sense of feeling safe and with all of our limbs in tact. Eighth….might be wise to reccommend occupants bring a fresh change of clothes….especially in regards to the forest hikes….you need to be cognizant of the fact that most of us participating in the tour do not live in the city/state…we’re visiting and 95% of the time we have taken an Uber/Lyft to meet up with you…meaning we will more than likely need to take an Uber/Lyft to get back to wherever we are staying…..would you feel confortable getting into a stranger’s vehicle muddy and wet? Price that is being charged for this tour is not representative of the service that is being rendered.
    Awesome trip

Susan is an awesome guide! She is very personable and so knowledgeable about the area. I was there during snowshoe season. She brings all the necessary gear and led us on an approximate 2-mile roundtrip hike. At the end of the first mile, she had led us to a spot with spectacular views of Rainier, Adams, and St. Helen's. And she had brought a tasty lunch for us to enjoy while we took in the majestic views. Once we were back down and on the road again, we made several stops within the park to view waterfalls, glacier rivers, and old-growth forests. The logistics for this trip were excellent too - everything from pre-trip communication, pickup and dropoff in Seattle, even bathroom breaks. This was certainly a highlight of my trip to the Pacific Northwest and highly recommend this outing.
    What an AMAZING experience!!!
    Josephine_C, Apr 2024
Our guide Susan was amazing!! Not only was she knowledgeable about the area, she was also very helpful with fixing our snowshoes and helping us if we fell down. She also recommended places to eat and do when we got back into Seattle. Extra treat was her taking photos and videos throughout the tour and shared with the whole group. I don’t know if I was just super hungry by the time it was lunch but the pasta and sandwich were delicious!! I would 100% recommend this tour!!
    I couldn’t recommend this enough

10/10, the trip was so well worth it. Susan was really nice to all of us, cooked us meals, explained the history behind some of the places she took us to. We were blessed with plenty of sunshine which made it even better.
    DO IT!

It was a great one day tour! It was snowy, but extremely sunny (sunscreen is a must). Susan is a very friendly guide and we enjoyed talking about parks, mountains and volcanoes. During the tour, we had a hike and saw many beautiful places: mountain peaks, waterfalls, ancient forest

I came all the way up from Houston for this and I'm so happy with the way everything went. Susan was amazing, not only did she have lots of Information about Mt. Rainier National Park, but she was very attentive to everyone's needs on the hike making sure everyone went at their own pace and was safe the whole time. The picnic spot was amazing. Overall amazing day I'm going to book this tour again when I come back.
    Fantastic tour

Truly a hidden gem during my visit to Seattle. Mt. Rainier is beautiful. The snowshoeing at Paradise was amazing followed by a picnic and lunch. Amazing views of volcanos Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adam's. Then some waterfalls and a hike in a tree forest. Susan was an amazing and knowledgeable guide and did everything to ensure that everyone was comfortable. A must do tour. Thank you!
Easter spent snowshoeing on Mt. Ranier
    Karen_C, Apr 2024
It is most memorable that I made it up to the picnic spot after snowshoeing uphill for 0.7 mile. Our group was wonderful., all solos. We bonded with our guide, Susan. She was knowledgeable and ensured we made the most of the areas we explored. From glaciers, to a packed lunch, to a forest hike she was full of information. It was a wonderful 11 hour day.
Breathtaking @ Pacifix NW at its best

    The tour was the best...
    Blanca_G, Mar 2024
The tour was the best part of our trip in Seattle. Susan was the perfect guide. She was knowledgeable and insightful with the entire tour. Whether it was a question about a mountain or a tree, she had the answer for every question. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Mount Reinier for the weekend. You will explore and learn a lot on the tour. Highly recommend
    Nice hiking experience
    Su_F, Mar 2024
We spent a couple of hours hiking. It was a little bit of challenge when we went uphills, but totally worth the effort because the view was stunning. and as advertised, we had a picnic in front of the glacier. It was a wonderful experience.
    A great day out
    Weiqiang_L, Mar 2024
I went on this tour because it was one of a few available in the month of March. It did not disappoint. Susan was punctual, well organised and experienced with the tour sites. The snow trekking was a little difficult but it was all part of the fun. The lunch that Susan prepared was delicious too. The crowd was fun and group size was just nice. Highly recommended.
    Phenomenal Day Trip!
    ME_M, Mar 2024
I booked this after having a great tour (Twin Falls hike) with the same host (Susan) earlier in my stay in Seattle. I loved the other tour, and this one blew it away! Susan is a GREAT host - very knowledgeable about local flora, history, and more. This trip, at least in March, is not for the faint of heart. It was a difficult and challenging day. Some of our group joked that it was a team building retreat, except we don't all work together. We often had to help each other up after minor falls, or help each other navigate obstacles such as downed trees (some were huge). The snowshoes were, as advertised, workable with no experience. However they did add a level of difficulty. But the challenges made the day more fun, not less. The scenery was stunning, Mt. Rainier is amazingly beautiful. Susan was also knowledgeable about the mountain and the geology of the area. Susan provided lunch, water, and snacks. The drive out to Mt. Rainier was a bit long, but well worth it. Overall, the day was exhilarating, challenging, and for me - a once in a lifetime opportunity. Well worth the cost, the time investment, and the physical challenges! Phenomenal day!
    Amazing experience

We had a great time snowshoe hiking and seeing the beautiful glaciers. Having picnic by the glacier was a nice experience. Kudos to our tour guide, Susan Hill. She is simply amazing!
    Worth every penny and more
    SriSaiAbhi_D, Jan 2024
Had an amazing time snowshoeing at Rainier with Susan! She blends the knowledge of a local with the passion of a traveler. From the moment she picked us up, she made sure we were all good, constantly checking in and even brought along some awesome homemade sandwiches, pasta and lots of snacks and drinks. Eating that while checking out Rainier's glaciers was just epic. And man, she's patient! Answered all our questions, no matter how many we threw at her. Totally worth every penny for such a chill yet super informative experience
