Day started out a bit cloudy so wasn't sure we would be able to see Mr. Rainier, but it cleared up and was absolutely beautiful till we left in the afternoon. Then it got cloudy again. We visited several areas of the part, Christine Falls, Paradise area, among others. Ron was a great guide, very knowledgeable.

Great experience, well worth it

I’m so glad we booked this trip last minute! Ron was an outstanding guide. This tour takes the stress out of going through the park. You’re with about 20 people total and Ron curates the trip. Ron had exceptional information to share so be prepared to learn more than you thought you could about geology and history of Mount Rainier!

Hello, my wife and I had the pleasure to meet Ranger Ron Hansen as our tour guide. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. Ron was very knowledgeable and was able to adapt to the weather and time changes. Ron showed us a wonderful time, with visual photo cards for us to help understand, sweet treats, and a fun quiz. He also took the time to take photos of us (his entire group) in his favorite spots of the mountain (Ron Spots). I would highly recommend this tour again and if you are lucky, Ron will be your tour guide.
Ranger Ron was great

Wonderful tour!

I had a day off in Seattle so decided to take a tour. I had a wonderful experience on this tour, which for me was the perfect blend of travelling by coach being able to look at the scenery, and walking. It is NOT a full day hiking trip so don't sign up if that's what you are expecting, but you are not sitting in the coach for the full day either. You have opportunities to hike a short distance into the woods at various points and experience and learn about the beautiful nature. We stopped for lunch above the snow line and had one hour free where we could walk up to a waterfall if we wanted to. I decided to do this (the trail is very well-marked) and I hugely enjoyed being able to do a slightly longer walk in the snow. We also had free time at the lodge to either relax or walk around the area and explore there. The guide was wonderful, really knowledgeable and I enjoyed talking to him very much. Mount Rainier is extremely beautiful and I'm happy to have been able to see and get to know it a little bit.

Ron Hanson is a highly experienced individual. Ron exceeded my expectations for this trip. Ron explained various items on biology of plants/forest, some history on locations and shared stories on past experiences during the tours. I would highly recommend Ron and his company for this trip.

The tour was worth it! Our tour guide Mark made sure we got to see all the sites at Mt Rainier and we also had 2 hours of free time to hike. We got to hike up to Glacier Vista and loved it. We took in lots of waterfalls as well. Highly recommend this tour.
