Before we get to town, we'll enjoy classic Northwest scenery, take pictures with Bigfoot and stretch your legs on a woodsy trail. Explore Leavenworth and choose a lunch spot on your own (there are plenty of German options!) Heading back, we'll visit Deception Falls for a full Northwestern day to remember.

What To Expect

Start your Leavenworth adventure with pickup from your hotel, terminal, or ferry port. Airport pickups are available for groups of four or more.

Then, embark on a scenic journey to the beloved Bavarian-themed town, driving past Lake Washington and the charming towns of Bellevue and Woodinville.

Make a stop at the Bigfoot-watching area, where you can take memorable pictures with Bigfoot and visit the wood carving of Harry Henderson from the movie "Harry and the Hendersons."

Once you arrive, enjoy free time for lunch and independent exploration of Leavenworth’s unique shops and German-style restaurants.

En route back, make a stop at Deception Falls, a picturesque, multi-tiered waterfall, to stretch your legs. Your tour ends back at the original departure point.

Excellent Tour to Leavenworth!

Leavenworth Day Trip

Bring your hiking shoes and see beautiful water falls with Vladimir, a true outdoors man. Leavenworth has the best pretzel you will want and some nice shops. A great day trip from Seattle.

I flew in from Asia to celebrate my friend's birthday and we decided to go on this tour since I'm in town for a week. We were picked up at our hotel by the coolest tour guide, Vlad. He handed us some snacks and we picked up another tourist and went on our merry way. We had a couple of stops along the way, like this Big foot coffee place, a river, Deception falls and Stevens pass. All of which has a nice nature view and we even went on a little hike in the woods. We reached Leavenworth around noon time and then had our lunch. We had a couple hours to explore before Vlad came back to pick us up. We really enjoyed the trip! So much so that I ended up inviting our small group to have dinner together!! I loved every moment of it! Everyone was fun and nice! I hope to meet them all again someday. ☺️

Nice trip

The town itself was a bit disappointing. I imagine that in the winter with snow and lights would make the town better. It's a long trip. Not sure I recommend. Our tour guide was great.

Overall, our experience was amazing! We were able to enjoy our time and had so much fun. Thanks to our tour guide Mehrdad, he’s great at what he does. He was very informative and entertaining at the same time. We had a lot of fun with him. He showed us all the beautiful places and shared inputs on them. It was rainy that day but we never missed anything because he made sure we were able to see them all. He made us feel safe and comfortable and made us laugh. On our way back to the city, he played the tambourine and sang for us. That was really cool! Everybody had fun singing with him. We can’t wait to do this trip again with our family and other friends in the future. It was an exciting experience. We had a great time! Thank you so much!

Very disappointed

We were expecting a day of fun but ended up riding in a van for 6+ hours. The Leavenworth adventure was canceled an hour into the trip because of weather. It was disappointing but understandable. The company offered us 3 options: return us to the Vrbo and a full refund, reschedule for another day, or take us to a distillery, a winery, a chocolate factory (all with tours and tastings), and Snoqualmie Falls. Since we were in Seattle for only a few days, we chose the third option. We arrived at the distillery to learn that we could not take a tour. We were offered a small tasting (paid by the company) and ate lunch at the restaurant (paid by us). Next we stopped at the winery. No tour was available and we paid for the wine tasting ourselves. We went to Snoqualmie Falls and the park was closed. We did take a 1 min walk to see the Falls, but could not wander the park or anything else. Then the driver told us that he had just been informed that the chocolate factory was not offering tours, so we decided to just return home. The day was a bust. We spent 6+ hours in a very slow van and did not see much at all for our $1K+ investment (6 adults @ $195 ea). The company did offer us a 20% discount on the next tour we take with them, but we have yet to see an email to that effect NOR will we be visiting the area again in order to take advantage of it. The driver was very nice and I believe he did his best given the circumstances. I blame the company for making promises before checking on availability and (attempting) to make reservations. My advice: take the refund when offered.

Leavenworth is absolutely beautiful and worth a visit. Daniel was our tour guide and he is the best! He took great care of us during the trip and made various stops for us to take pictures of the nice sceneries. I will highly recommend this tour!
