What To Expect

Meet your captain in in Naples or Sorrento and take a jetfoil out to the island of Capri, visiting the Blue Grotto along the way (sea conditions permitting). Then continue to Capri, where you'll board a minibus for a day of adventure. Visit the Villa San Michele, also known as the Axel Munthe house, to check out the architectural features and garden.

Then head to Anacapri, the second-largest community on the island, where you can explore at your leisure for a couple of hours or take a chairlift up Mount Solaro. Wrap your day up with a bit of free time at La Piazzetta, the main square on the island, before heading back to Naples or Sorrento.

Blue grotto was simply amazing. Our guide was helpful and entertaining. It was a little chilly on the chairlift but a light jacket would be good.

What an amazing day! The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful! Our tour guide Georgio was great! He met us right on time, took us to all the most interesting spots and was honest right from the start about whether we would be able to go into the Blue Grotto. Unfortunately (or fortunately!) the water was too rough and we could not go in however we got a wonderful tour around the island of Capri that far exceeded our expectations! We even saw a wedding scene from Blake Lively’s latest movie being filmed. Georgio recommended a lunch place that was soooo good, too! All in all, a fun day that was finished off by a serenade by our boat captain! Ciao Capri!

My daughter and I took this tour with Giorgio. He was an excellent guide, great communication. He provided a lot of local historical information throughout the tour. We had plenty of time to explore each location on our own as well. The day we went the sea was too rough for the grotto boat ride so we took the bigger boat around the island. If this happens to you don’t be disappointed. It was such a great experience and we were able to see so much more of the island. It’s a beautiful place unlike anywhere else.

This tour was fantastic! The seas were rough so we didn't get to see the Blue Grotto, but we got to take a full boat tour around the island which I think was probably a better option. Our tour guide, Georgio was really wonderful. He was always smiling and making sure we were having fun. Capri is beautiful and the sky lift to the top of the island was very worthwhile. It is single chair and is so peaceful and beautiful. You think you will be scared, but once you are on, it is not scary, but oh so peaceful. Would highly recommend this tour!!

Really our favorite day of our trip so far. It was a beautiful day even though the weather didn't let us go to the Blue Grotto. We loved Capri and Ana Capri. Our tour guide Tiziana was fantastic.

Lugi was our guide 3/16. He was stellar. Small group due to off season. Like most areas in Sorrento/Amalfi coast not open till after Easter. So we cleared Island quite well. We Started with a earlyer depature ferry, then once at Capri we went straight to blue grotto (1st boat there). Stellar. Then we went straight to next city. Where we booked chair lift to top of moutain. Then had lunch there. moved to 2nd city where it was 1st day open of the best bakery/gelato shop luckely. Saw the gardens and shop. Since small party we took taxi van vs short bus so it was no waiting times for the bus system there. so We finished in city of port of Capri and Lugi was like we went smooth and fast. Theres time for boat ride around island that usualy is subsuited when Blue Grotto is closed. for 20pp. group of 5 said yes and he got us our tickets and ferry back afterwards. told us where to seat for best views. To be honest one of the best tout guides we have had. We saw everything. We talked to another couple at hotel next day, they didnt make it to blue grotto cause it closed later same day, they didnt know about chairlift or mama mia road. Somethings you need a tour guide or do massive research. Lugi was the best thank you.

Perfect Day in Capri during Los Season

It was a well organized lovely trip with a smaller group during low season. Even though a lot of stores and sites were closed due to low drain, I enjoyed the atmosphere and island a lot better without the larger crowds. Although high tides did not allow us to go to the Blue Grotto, we had a beautiful boat trip around the island allowing us to see sites we would not have been able to see and we went through the arches which was really fun. Our tour guide Luigi was informative and humorous and enjoyed our time thoroughly.

We would like to thank the guide, Tiziana for being so helpful and informative during the whole trip. We missed the meet-up time and we thought we could not make the trip. Fortunately, the staff in Viator Call centre as well as the tour guide Tiziana helped us a lot and finally, we were able to join the tour. The island is worth a visit for the beautiful scenery. But it would have been great if we are not visting in Winter as the Blue Grotto is usually closed during Winter when the waves are fierce. It would be appreciated if the description stated that so that we know beforehand.

One of the best times of our lives. The view from the top of Capri after the chair lift our guide told us to do was breathtaking(see photo, it’s fine if you’re afraid of heights the chair lift onto goes 14 feet off the ground up the mountain). She also took us to the town Ana Capri which was so so sooo beautiful with so many nice shops and the most gorgeous garden where we got spectacular photos. The boat ride around the island was mesmerizing and we went through the famous arch in the sea. Sadly, the water was too choppy to get access to the Blue Grotto; the boat ride around the island replaced this portion. Don’t come to The Almafi Coast and not take this tour of Capri.

we went with a great guide to Capri. He took us to AnaCapri, we could see the wonderful view. then he took us to Capri a very nice small city. and at the end, the best of the best, we went to a one hour cruise around Capri. It was great, the highlight of all our tour in Italy. I surely recommend it to every one who wants to enjoy.

Blue grotto was cancelled but our guide Alberto made up for it with a boat ride around the cliffs & funicula . He was clear & informative as well as friendly and funny. He even sang some opera for us !
