What To Expect

Meet your guide and fellow travelers and head out for your tour through St. Augustine. Over the course of around three hours, make stops at four or five different eateries to indulge in food and wine pairings (beer is also available on request).

While this is a culinary tour, there will also be plenty of architecture to see between tastings. Check out the architecture at Flagler College and the 17th-century Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, the oldest structure in the city. Continue past the historic Huguenot Cemetery and through the centerpiece Plaza de la Constitucion, past the 18th-cenury Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, and the Government House Museum.

What a fantastic experience…even for someone who lives in this area! Our tour guide, Judi, made it memorable with her knowledge of the area. Wonderful food and wine visiting little backstreet places. Would do it again..but only with Judi!!

Good food, needs more information to share

The food and wine destinations were all good nice mix of cuisines. But was hoping for more history, information. Once we stopped at each location; guide could have related more information about the city it’s history, etc. since she had a captive audience at each place.

Food and Wine selections were excellent! Stopped at a Greek restaurant and tried some flaming cheese with 1/2 gyro paired with a nice red wine. Also stopped at the Gifted Cork (Wine tasting and charcuterie), DJ's Clam Shack (beer & lobster roll), and Casa Maya (Wine & desert). Bonnie, our guide was outstanding!

Great tour and should not be missed

This tour was the best activity while we were at St Augustine as the first timers. It was the highlight of our trip that made our visit so memorable. Kimberly, our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable both history of the town and the places where we went. All chosen places on the tour were top notch. It is strongly recommended during your St Augustine visit.

Dont bother! Very disappointing!

We have taken this tasting tour in St. Augustine 3 times before and always thought it was excellent. Very disappointed this time around. We liked all the venuues and everthing was good, but definitely not worth $300 ( plus expected tip) per couple. We could have a very fine dinner with wine for that price. Nothing unique or special at all. Way too pricey. We went with 5 friends, I was embarrassed that I recommended this event because they were all disappointed.

Laura made the tour PHENOMENAL! The wide variety of food was wonderful! The flavors of the dishes and wines paired were lovely. The different restaurants were some that we had not been to, which was a WONDERFUL way to try new places. The wines were great. Casa de Vino 57 had a phenomenal selection of wines for us to taste and have a glass.

Our tour guide, Rachel, was very knowledgable and personable. The tour seemed to be more wine than food. I would have liked to have more food that was unique to the area we were in. Loved the history of the area.

We hate that the 'focus on wine' reflected less than stellar on the tour experience provided. Is there truly such a thing as too much wine?! LOL! That was definitely a FIRST for us, but do appreciate the feedback. :) Wine consumption is such a fine line. Some guests want more, while others want less. We try to meet in the middle to make everyone happy. The amount of wine consumed is, of course, at the guest's discretion. Although offered, it is not required to participate. Judge free zone! :) We are so glad that you enjoyed your guide (Rachael), the 4 awesome venues and the food pairings that were hand selected for the tour. We have taken 7 tasting tours in our travels and all have been outstanding experiences with exception of this one. Stops were not unique or related to the region. They were not spots the locals would frequent. Guide was knowledgeable but could have shared more history and less personal information.
