Hi Anton
Though I can understand your frustrations the error remains with yourself sorry mate. We had everyone else successfully attend the tour pickup on the day. Every year we have thousands and thousands of people with the exact same information that have no real issues to our knowledge. Multiple emails are automatically sent out to all our guests in advance and there is even a exact GPS navigation link that was also sent out to yourself where you simply tap it on your phone and it literally walks you to the correct location. This link has been verified on both Google maps and Apple maps to be correct and is used by everyone I would assume.
Our pickup as described is 812 George Street Haymarket nearby the front of St Laurence church. Using the link or searching the above address or searching the above mentioned church all go to the correct spot and it's mentioned this way so our guests can double check and even triple confirm if they want.
I understand you were waiting several minutes up the road at a public bus station area not at the address given and nowhere near a church physically or visually. This was your description of your location given over the phone when you realised you were at the incorrect location (call received 30 mins after the group had departed Sydney).
I know you may not have wanted to hear this response but I don't think your review reflects an error on our behalf however more your frustrations at the position you found yourself in.
We recommend searching the address in advance on your smartphone and if there is any confusion to get in contact the evening before or in the morning prior to the departing time.
Unfortunately our bus left late and went ahead with two empty seats and we missed the chance to show two more people the beautiful Blue Mountains 😥
Hope you had a lovely time in Australia regardless of this minor negative situation and try to remember the better parts of your Aussie adventure down under 🙂
