Great day in the national parks
      Robert_B, Feb 2024
This trip was a hit. Steve (2) was great We left the city and headed to the wildlife park. Got in early! What a benefit to be with the koalas and roos before the rest of the crowd arrived. Off to lunch. Also great. Steve was informative along the way. The remainder of the trip was excellent with a couple of bonus stops.
Excursion of a lifetime in Sydney
      Riyaz_R, Feb 2024
This was the best trip in our lifetime! The wildlife interaction at the Symbio Wildlife Park was the best. No words can describe the fun we had interacting with the Koalas and the Kangaroos. The staff at the park very so friendly. The centennial wine tour was also great. We had the best tour guide “The Other Steve” who was very informative, friendly and had a great sense of humor. He kept us entertained during the entire trip and paid so much attention to details. He really was able to educate us on the history of Australia and Sydney. I would do this multiple times and would strongly recommend for people to book this tour. I can guarantee you that this will be your best tour while in Sydney! Wildlife-Waterfall-Wines tour company was phenomenal!
      Most Magical Day Ever
      Elise_M, Feb 2024
Wow, this experience completely surpassed our already high expectations! The whole day is a beautifully curated once in a lifetime experience that allows participants to enjoy the best of Australia without having to lift a finger or extensively research options that wouldn’t match the quality of the day Steve has woven together for his guests anyway. If you want a peaceful, beautiful and fun experience this is absolutely the one you want.
      Awesome experience
      Virgil_P, Feb 2024
I was in Australia for two weeks this was one of my best experiences. It was literally wildlife, waterfalls and wine in that order. Steven was very knowledgeable about the history of Australia. He made the experience very welcoming, I would do the excursion again because of him. The one thing I would complain about is the seats, I travelled alone and the seats are small. You’re shoulder to shoulder with the person next to you. Luckily I switched seats with someone and I was great after that. But I think it’s the way the van was made.
      Response from Host, Feb 2024
Hey Virgil. Great to hear the day was one of your best experiences in Australia! Thanks for your feedback about the seats. Yes, it's the way the van is made, but fortunately the 2-1 row configuration enabled you to move to a single seat and you were more comfortable after that. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Sydney. Cheers, Steve @ WildlifeWaterfallsWine.com
Best tour I’ve taken in 40 years. A quality experience if you want to see the best of Australia.
      linda_m, Feb 2024
One of the best tours I’ve taken in the past 40 years. The koala encounter was well worth the entire price we were able to get into the park before it opened and have a private experience, petting and interacting with half dozen koalas. My then had time to explore the rest of the park at our leisure and interact with kangaroos and wallabies. The drive to the park was through national park and absolutely beautiful. After that we took the coast drive with photo opportunities to the beach for a lovely lunch. After lunch, we drove up into another park and had a lovely walk through the park seeing waterfalls. Then it was back into the lovely van (Steve provided charging cords for our phones if we needed them and umbrellas in case it rained) for a drive-through another part up to the winery. This was one of the top wineries in the country with a five star rating. The tasting was lovely. A nice selection and a lovely fruit and cheese platter. we had to buy a few bottles of wine and relax on the outdoor patio overlooking the winery. And then it was back to the city. A lovely, relaxing day with a great mixture of activities. Steve was an amazing guide and you could tell very invested in making sure we had a good time. He was knowledgeable of the history of the area, the plants, the animals, and geology. What a pleasant, wonderful individual I highly would recommend this tour. If you want to get outside the city and see some of the beauty that Australia has to offer, the koala encounter was the best.
      Response from Host, Feb 2024
Thanks Linda. That's one of the best reviews I've read in 35 years of guiding :-) It was a pleasure to have you along on the tour and I'm delighted you had a lovely, relaxing day. Thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review and for highly recommending the tour. All the very best as you continue to ski around the world. Cheers, Steve @ WildlifeWaterfallsWine.com
Really great tour and the Koalas OMG! ❤️
      Lucy_A, Feb 2024
Such a good fun tour, I’ve done loads of tours in Sydney and wanted something different, the Koala experience was amazing, the lunch spot was really pretty as were the waterfalls and nice to see a different winery that’s not in Hunter. This is a great tour, and if your limited in time and want a tour that lets you experience a bit if everything, you need to book this.
      Response from Host, Feb 2024
Thanks Lucy. Your words come with great authority having "been here and done that" in Sydney on so many occasions. I'm very grateful that you've taken the time to share your experience and to encourage others to join us too! Cheers, Steve @ WildlifeWaterfallsWine.com
We really enjoyed our day outside of the city

A tour that worth every penny
      jaimi_s, Feb 2024
It was full of fun activities. Wild life visit was very exclusive. The guide was very knowledgeable and kind. It was a small group so felt very comfortable and friendly. It was one of the top 3 tours I have ever did in all Viator tours which were a lot. Highly recommended.
      Response from Host, Feb 2024
Hi Jaimi. Great to know you had such a fun day out with Rohan. He'll be delighted to hear that you think it's one of the top 3 tours you've ever done! Coincidentally, when we had just 3 guides, Rohan was one of the top 3 :-) Seriously, thanks so much for highly recommending the tour. It really helps others when choosing how to spend their limited time in Sydney. Cheers, Steve @ LocalTravelPlanner.com
      Best Day Ever
      julie_c, Feb 2024
Great day! Steve is a wonderful guide. Shares his vast knowledge of Australia in general and the Sydney area specifically in an easy going way. Especially fun to be at Symbio Wildlife Park before it’s open to the public. Well cared for animals and the best koala encounter imaginable. Tasty “lunch like a local” in a cafe right on a beach. Tour through amazing country side… several National parks and finally visiting a charming boutique winery. I’ve traveled a bit and enjoyed many excursions. I consider this one of the very best in the world.
      Response from Host, Feb 2024
Hey Julie. Wow! Well if our day out is "one of the very best in the world", then I reckon you must be one of the world's very best travellers :-) Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your experience of the day. Experiences like yours are why we do what we do. And it's always incredibly satisfying to hear that we made someone's day. Cheers, Steve @ LocalTravelPlanner.com

A time to get out of the city and explore
      Steve_T, Feb 2024
Steve was our guide for the day and what a great job he did providing stories, humor, insights, regional history, with a little botany and geology thrown in as well to really give you an appreciation for the land and its people. Well worth the trip and a great value for your money. It felt like I had three days experience packed into one - a fantastic time! Lunch was not some simple boxed lunch but a relaxing time spent at a restaurant by the coast with quality food. I hope you have the same opportunity to take advantage of this trip as we did.
      Response from Host, Feb 2024
Hey Steve. Happy to hear you and Kerry had a fantastic time. I have to say you've written a fantastic review! Thanks for sharing your experience with such enthusiasm. I hope you managed to pack lots more in while you were in Sydney. Cheers, Steve @ LocalTravelPlanner.com
      Interesting and informative day out
      Beverly_U, Jan 2024
Driving through one of the beautiful national forests, seeing Bulli Beach & the sea-water pools, beautiful waterfalls & other lookout points. The "nature reserve" was more like a small zoo. We enjoyed the opportunity to be "up-close" with koalas and to feed the wallabies (didn't see any kangaroos), but so many of the animals were in small enclosures, which was very disappointing. Our guide, Steve, was good; he kept a running dialogue about our surroundings that was interesting and low key.
      Response from Host, Feb 2024
Hi Beverley. It's so great to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the wildlife encounters. In the big open grassy area where you fed the wallabies there are about 20 Eastern Grey kangaroos. They are noticeably larger than the wallabies, however they are a different colour and are smaller than the Red kangaroos that you may be thinking of, so I suspect it was a case of mistaken identity ;-) Also, there appears to have been some confusion re Symbio Wildlife Park being a “nature reserve” and whatever your understanding of that description is, it was not what you encountered. Neither Symbio, nor do we, describe it as such, however I assure you that if we encounter that description of our tour anywhere we will correct it. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience of the day with us. Feedback such as yours is invaluable to us continuously improving how we deliver and communicate about the tour. Cheers, Steve
      Fabulous Day

      Best Day Ever
      Sandy_M, Jan 2024
We had a truly memorable day. Steve (the other Steve) was an excellent tour guide. He entertained us while providing interesting insights on our way to Symbio Wildlife park. We had a behind the scene experience with one of the animal handlers who allowed us into a Koala exhibit to pet them and have our pictures taken. We then were able to pet and feed the Kangaroos. After the park, we went to Bulli Beach for lunch, then to Fitzroy Falls, and finished the day at Centennial Winery. The whole experience was over the top fabulous. Well worth the price. We travel a lot and tour often. This tour is at the top of our list of favorites. Thanks “Other Steve”!
      Response from Host, Jan 2024

      A tour well worth taking
      Shirley_C, Jan 2024
The tour was fantastic! Steve shared all kinds of great information without going overboard in the details. He even gave us some ideas of what to do the next day since our plans had been cancelled on us. The walk to the falls was well worth it. I shared my physical limitations with him and he made sure I was aware of the terrain and could make an informed decision if I could handle it. The winery was beautiful and the wine delicious. And of course being able to let a Koala ... amazing!
      Response from Host, Jan 2024
Thanks Shirley. It was a pleasure to have you along on the tour and I'm so happy you thought it was fantastic! Hearing that makes our day. Hope you got some sleep on the flight home 😀. Cheers, Steve
