You will be met at your Venice city hotel by the representative at the hotel reception lounge. Time will be advised by you on booking and reconfirmed directly with the operator prior to travel in Venice

What To Expect

Choose from two different options with this one-way private water taxi service from your Venice hotel to Marco Polo Airport.
• Meet and greet service: A transfer representative will meet you in your hotel lobby if the hotel does not have a private pier. You will then be escorted to a waiting motorboat at the nearest departure point. If your hotel has a private pier, you will hop aboard the motorboat there on your own, and a representative will meet you at Marco Polo Airport and escort you to the departure terminal.
• Full service: A representative will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and accompany you all the way to the airport departure terminal.Motorboats can accommodate up to six people and six pieces of luggage. Transfer service is available 24 hour a day, 7 days a week. Please provide flight and hotel details when making your booking. You’ll receive immediate confirmation and a voucher to present to the transfer representative. Please call the number on your voucher between 24 and 48 hours prior to your departure to confirm your transfer.

Price is per person, based on six adults per motorboat.

Please note: Guests staying at Venice’s Hotel Marriott (Isola delle Rose) will need to pay a surcharge of €20 at the time of service due to the hotel’s more distant location. This transfer service is not available to Mestre hotels.

If there are bad weather conditions (such as fog, frozen water, or stormy conditions) on the day of your transfer, you will be diverted via Piazzale Roma by vehicle
Price is per person, based on 6 adults per car/vehicle
Due to the Hotel Marriot location (Isola delle Rose), transfer to/from this Hotel are subjected to a surcharge of €20, payable on spot

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

If anything had gone wrong in getting to the airport in Venice, it would’ve affected three flights and ruined our trip. A representative was there right on time, took care of all of our baggage, got us to a wheelchair, took us through the airport, it was such a great experience that we have been very nervous about worth every penny! Our first guide met us in our hotel lobby at the specified time (which was 3 hours before our flight). We took a private water taxi that was right outside our hotel entrance to the airport (about 30 minutes) and upon arrival there was another guide who met us at the dock and took us to the airport and showed us exactly where to check our bags, go through security, etc. Thankfully there wasn't a long line at any of the check points and we made it through everything with plenty of time to spare before our flight. It definitely took the stress out of having to navigate everything ourselves since the guide walked us directly to where we needed to be prior to the security check point. I would definitely recommend for anyone departing from Marco Polo Airport the first time.

Fine ride, but do not expect a guided tour

We decided to select a guided tour from Viator instead of just using the private water taxi as we were under the impression it would be tied to a somewhat quick commented tour as we were heading to the airport. All we had was someone that picked us up at the front desk of the hotel to walk us to the taxi terminal and then, it was a standard ride. Everything was fine, and although the lady was nice and schedule wise, all was good, to our opinion, it is too expensive for what we got.

A very easy way to get from Venice to the airport. Our representative met us in our hotel lobby, loaded our luggage on the water taxi and got us to the airport. There were no additional stops to collect other travelers as would be on the water bus. Once at the airport, he escorted us to the airline checking for our flight.

The driver was rude and in a terrible mood because the Hilton’s Bell service was taking longer than usual with the bags. The service is about 50 Euros more than a Taxi so I expected top notch service and professionalism.
