This transfer service from Marco Polo airport to Venice island will be provided directly by water taxi from the dock at airport to your destination in Venice (or to the closest public dock). However, based on the exclusive criteria of the water taxi captain and depending on weather conditions, tide level, boats traffic in the lagoon, flight delays or the waiting queue at water taxi dock at airport or any other element outside our control, we can decide to provide a private ground transportation from Marco Polo airport to Piazzale Roma and then a water taxi from Piazzale Roma to your destination in Venice, instead of a direct transfer. For the safety of passengers and following the maritime regulations in Italy, the decision of the captain must be accepted and can't be a reason for cancellation, complaint or refund requests.

Incredibly professional! We were met in the airport by a man in a suit who held a sign with our name on it. He took us and our luggage to a lovely SUV with bells and whistles in it, drove us to the pier, rolled our luggage to the dock and waited with us until we were met by the water taxi driver who, within a split second arrived. We had a great ride into Venice and were dropped off just steps from our hotel. If you're tuckered out by the trip to Europe, this is the way to begin a wonderful vacation.

Pricey but worth it

Everything went great! I’m so happy we switched to meet and greet service. We arrived at 9:40 pm into Venice and it would’ve been hard to find the water taxi plus I got nervous when I read you are allowed only 1 suitcase and 1 personal item in the shared transport and that service stops at 10 pm. They took care of us. Thanks!

After a long transcontinental air trip, we did not want any issues getting from airport to hotel. In Venice this can be challenging given need to use ground and water transportation. We were promptly greeted at airport arrival hall by a cheerful gentleman with our name neatly displayed on iPad. He assisted with luggage transfer to private van, transported us to boat terminal, again assisted with luggage and helped us boarding a beautiful boat for private boat ride to the hotel’s private dock. Pricy but worth every dollar given the lack of stress and convenience.

Fabulous. Waiting for us at the airport with a sign that read our name. Helped with luggage to the the van taking us to the water transfer. Beautiful, comfortable boat-DEFINIATELY the way to arrive. I highly recommend. We were a huge part of 13-kids all ages and adults, and it was seamless.

Great Service. Was picked by the driver outside the arrival gate and he drove us to the docktook 5 minutes. Boarded the speed-boat and was dropped off at Hotel Ca 'D'Oro in 20 minutes. Great view of Venice and hassle-free and royal way to arrive at a Venice Hotel.

Our party of four travelers were extremely pleased with the service starting from the person who greeted us in the terminal and loaded us and our luggage in the van wich was large and immaculate drove us to the dock, transfered us and our luggage to the water taxi. The taxi was beautiful. What a wonderful work of craftsmanship! Then our driver took us from the terminal through the Grand Canal of Venice. It was breathtaking to see and hear of the fantastic view of Venice. After our tour, he then took us to our hotel and unloaded our luggage. This is by far the best way to arrive in Venice! There were no lines, no getting lost, Truly a worry free experience.

I didn't get any tour, only transfer from the airport to the hotel. Furthermore, the first part with the minivan is quite pointless because the boat terminal is only a few minutes away. So basically you'll pay a lot of money for a boat trip from the airport to your hotel and there's a lot of cheaper options if that's what you want.

This was better than the arrival my family had in Prague with Viator. The person that met us was on time. Spoke little if no English. The boat ride was great, and the boat was beautiful. We were suppose to get a mini arrival tour, but that didn't happen. All in all a good experience because we did not have to hassle with bags and with 6 people that is a challenge.
