    Nice quick visit to Murano and Burano

    We enjoyed seeing the glass-blowing demo on Murano and walking around on Burano. Our guide also gave us info on some sites we passed on our way to the islands. I do wish we had more shopping time on Murano, and a chance to explore outside the shop.

    Not that good, you could probably take the vaparetto to these islands and have a better time. Not enough time in Murano to explore the island, arrive via the shop and whole boat load of people is sent through the shop - it just felt like we had been ferried there to spend money at the factory. Burano was excellent but as stated if you just want to explore the islands, there are cheaper ways to do it.

    This tour was exactly what we were looking for. The meeting spot was easy to find and it was a beautiful day in and around Venice. We took a comfortable boat to both islands and had our own time to walk around, see the sights, eat lunch and really enjoy both places.
    Efficient and Economical way to see the 3 islands - but don't get trapped in the Murano glass store at the start!!

    easy way to see 3 of the key islands in the Venetto (and cheaper than using the Water Bus Vaporetto system!). My main criticism - the first stop in Murano was (almost) hurt by a very very unnecessary stop in the store as we first arrived on the island. Just watch the glass blowing- and - do as we did- ESCAPE the store and explore! You only have a short time and wasting any of it in the overly touristy store as you arrive is silly! Use their boat- but don't follow their commercial ploy to trap you!

    Burano was beautiful and worth the trip on its own. The glass factory exhibition showed the real skill involved. Good commentary and very reasonable price.

    The boat tour was amazing. Murano glass blowers were incredible. The island of Burano was so colorful and cheerful. We didn't have time to go to Torcello, so we took a water taxi back to Venice. The only down side was lugging the glassware we bought around to the other island and carrying it while we walked.

    We saw 2 islands and had a glass blowing demo; we wandered around Burano and had lunch on our own. it was a relaxing trip. If you want more action rather than casual, relaxing sightseeing, this isn't for you. Good for families with kids.

    Seeing the master make glass pieces on Murano was impressive. I have a collection of Murano glass and was happy to visit the island. Loved the vibe on Burano. Last island could have been skipped.

    Words cannot describe how horrific of an experience this ‘tour’ was. Not only were we packed in like sardines but there was no commentary or facts shared by the tour operators. I understand that this is not the most expensive option available so going into it my expectations were already low but I have previously been on other island tours that have been so amazing that were cheaper than this and this failure of a tour has succeeded in being the worst one I have ever been on. There was no organisation and no friendliness or professionalism by the crew. After a few of us had lost our way back in Burano, we were harassed and booed by members of the staff and those on the boat even though we were only 2 minutes late. We also felt like we were less than human after being told to get on and get off at a specific time with nothing else said no friendliness or professionalism. Even if this tour was the cheaper option it was not free so I would expect some level of humanity given by members of staff. There was no time to explore the islands which we knew beforehand but we were not expecting a boat full of 70-100 people (with not enough spaces for everyone to sit on the boat so many of us had to stand) offloading took 15-20 minutes which took up more of the limited time on each island. It was also incredibly dangerous as there were so many people during the fire demonstration that people were standing way too close. If you value your time, safety and money then avoid.

    The tour was good, as advertised. The only disappointment for us was that we weren't aware of the door leading out of the sales gallery, so we wasted a lot of time looking at merchandise we weren't going to buy. It was almost time to leave when we noticed the exit door leading out into the street which we would have loved to explore.

    On our multi country vacation I have booked 8 tours so far & rated all of them 5 stars, except for this tour. The guide was incredibly rude & clearly does not care for Americans. In the seat I had I wasn’t able to reach the floor with my feet, so not being able to support my weight the edge started to cut into the back of my legs. When it started to hurt I put my feet up on the corner of a storage box/bench. When the guide came out she way overreacted to it. I took my feet down IMMEDIATELY, I didn’t say a word either, & she continued to repeat the demand that I not put my feet up as if I wasn’t following her order or arguing with her. A local even joined in ordering me not to put my feet up & she was ok with it. However, there were 5 others doing the same exact thing (I took photos) & she said NOTHING when she walked by them. When passing her in one of the shops on the island she pretended like she couldn’t see me, & did the same thing when we got off the boat. The hostility was bizarre. Had she asked me ONCE politely to take my feet down & maintained that rule for the other passengers I would’ve given a good review. It was also impossible to hear her & you barely get an hour on each island, better off getting to the islands by other transport.

    Perfect half day tour! The only downside was it was difficult to hear the tour guide on the boat. Otherwise, highly recommend!

    I want to give this excursion 5 stars because it really was a nice day trip visiting the 3 islands. However, the organization of this event left alot to be desired. Multiple tour groups were meeting in one area and there was no direction as to which line we should be in to board our boat. Tour boats were moving in and out of the harbor and the entire scene was chaotic. People were waiting in line in the hot sun for waht seemed like half an hour or more. Tempers were flaring and there didn't appear to be anyone truly in charge. I would recommend this excursion to others with the hope that the tour companies get their act together.

    Fun to see the islands Great use of time allocated to each of the islands to see what needed to be seen.
