Overview

Enjoy the Panoramic Venice islands tour: day trip in the norther lagoon to discover Murano, Burano and Torcello. After a fascinating boat ride in the Lagoon dominated by nature, you will stop in Murano, the glass island, and visit a glassblowing furnace. The tour will then continue towards Burano, the jewel of the Venetian Lagoon, famous all over the world for its lacemaking and for the brightly colored fishermen’s houses. The last, but not the least, admire the quiet and sparsely populated island of Torcello with the oldest churches of the lagoon and discover how Venice was born.

It is mandatory to be at the meeting point 20 minutes before the departure time, upon arrival at the redemption location you should present your printed voucher to the representative, once verified you obtain the ticket and can join the tour.
The tour will not take place in case of exceptionally bad weather, boats are completely covered, the tour operates regularly in case of rain (in these cases it can be postponed the days after).
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 80 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The ride back. Torcello = nothing to see. Murano = 15 minute glass making tutorial, 45 minutes trying to get you to buy some and 2.5 hours waiting to leave. Burano = I don't know, it was raining so we sat on the boat. Sorry to be negative, but if you have kids they'll be bored. If you're an adult, you'll be bored also.

This tour was a little disappointing. I guess we were expecting more of the history of the islands as we were traveling over to them. Instead it was get to the island and see you back at the boat in a hour . If the guide was saying anything it was so hard to hear over the roar of the boat engines,

Just get the water bus pass

To call this a guided tour is a stretch. Could not understand our guide. Visits felt rushed. Ended up leaving the tour as the same agenda could be accomplished with the water bus pass and more time on the islands. Would not recommend.

Tour guide never showed up at the meeting location

We arrived at the dock 40 minutes prior to the expected leave time at the exact location listed on the email. As the leave time started approaching, we tried calling and messaging to figure out where the tour guide was. 30 minutes after the leave time, we received a response that the tour had already left. There was another party at the exact meeting place as us, for the same tour. My only other thought was that we were expected to go onto the different vessels on the dock until we found the correct one, as there was no boat ever parked in the dock listed in the email, which feels incredibly dangerous and unsafe for anyone to do. The tour guide needs to be at the location stated on the email, and visible to the public. The other party that was there and us will be requesting a refund. Definitely disappointed. We were looking forward to this.

i was told to get to meeting place 20 mins in advance and to look for a blue sign, no sign there, found someone who turned out to be the guide with no sign. the boat was late and the sign was on the boat so i was told no boat no sign, all very confusing. once on the rather old boat which didn't bother me, it was all enclosed but the description implies it's covered if it rains and so in my head it meant its largely open with a roof but its fully enclosed with dirty windows and i would not want to be in there in warm weather. after the first stop we were told we had over 2 hours there and to meet back at the docking place, the itinary said we had less time there and so couldn't plan this properly in advance. huge problem was that when it was time to get back on it was a different boat with a different guide, none of this was pre warned and caused much confusion, tickets were not checked again after the initial boat. there are lots of tours and it would be incredibly easy to get on the wrong boat and end up wherever it happened to be going. we arrived back eventually later than planned but this didn't bother me as i had no after plans but if you did, this would be a problem as it was near on half hour late. these islands can totally e done by yourself without 'tour' which consists of someone talking on the boat not on the islands. if you have day passes for the water boats it would work better to do yourself and probably cheaper as you'd have the ticket anyway. I'm not sorry i did the tour but next time i would do it myself. pro of going on the tour is you have to keep to their times, it would be easy to spend way longer at each place than you may need to and throw out your other plans, at least you have to stick to the tour times. The glass blowing visit is touch and go if you happen to be at the back or side when watching as its a quite small area so if tour is full you may not see it all. you are then ushered into the gift shop where the prices are steep! on the glass blowing, although it is on the itinary, it wasn't mentioned specifically when you got off the boat it's easy to then assume you have to pay for it and to just start looking round the island. just walk straight off the boat and go right in to the building as they will be expecting the boat load - note, no toilet on the boat and there is a toilet in this glass place, so I'd take that opportunity while there. for the smaller islands, look ahead on map where you want to go before you get there and make a note of exactly where the boat will pick you up as i nearly got lost trying to find it again and started to get confused the more i was looking at the map. be especially careful at Burano as there are lots of bridges and dead ends so don't push the departure time in case you hit navigation issues and can't get to where you need to be on time.

Only 45 minutes in Murano, 35 in Torcello, 40 in Burano. Spent more time on the water than at the stops.

The trip was nice but instructions how to reach the boat were super wrong. Gate 1A as requested was not the one we left from and also there was no sign of Blue Lagoon as was advised by Viator. If we would not come in advance we would never know that is our boat. Also they were super late so if I come on time, there will be no boat according instructions and I would loose money due Viators bad work.

This was a nice way to spend several hours in Venice. The transportation was comfortable and safe, and the guide did a nice job explaining what we were seeing on the left, right, and in front of the boat. She was trilingual and allowed everyone on the boat the chance to understand the sights we saw. We were given enough time to explore alone on the islands. We got to taste the local goodies and thoroughly enjoyed that! Thank you!

non c' era il traghetto la prenotato per la Gita. La Gita inesistente, abbiamo aspettato 30 minuti chiedendo informazioni sia in loco che contattando il vostro assistente per poi scopeire che non c era nessun traghetto

Tuor prenotato per 5 persone, appuntamento 20 min prima della partenza nel punto indicato dove non prima delle 12:35 si é presentato nessuno, premetto che ai vostri contatti indicati nella prenotazione non risponde nessuno e l’unico modo per comunicare è via mail, quindi in caso di emergenza non c’è assistenza alcuna. Arrivati a Murano, l’appuntamento di partenza dalla stessa isola era previsto per le 14:30. Al nostro arrivo alle 14:31 presso lo stesso punto dove siamo stati lasciati non c’era traccia in tutta la Laguna dell’imbarcazione Lagoon Tour. Il vostro servizio é del tutto una truffa, ci siamo trovati a nostre spese a dover pagare un Taxi per andare a Burano dove senza alcun aggiornamento da parte dell’agenzia abbiamo dovuto attendere fino alle 17:00 sul molo l’arrivo di una imbarcazione completamente diversa da quella dell’andata, la barca é stata cambiata durante il tour e riconoscerla visto la disorganizzazione totale di questa gita é stato impossibile. Il ritorno l’abbiamo fatto in piedi poiché i posti a sedere non c’erano per tutti, un’esperienza del genere con Viator non mi era mai capitata, del tutto inammissibile

Gita ben organizzata nei modi e nei tempi, con una guida (Giulia se non ricordo male) precisa, esaustiva e disponibile. Tra una tappa e l'altra c'è tempo a sufficienza per fare un giro in autonomia su ciascuna isola. Sicuramente un'esperienza che consiglio e che ripeterei!
