Pickup details

Pickup is 2-4 hours before your flight departure time. Exact time will be advised the afternoon prior to your departure transfer date. Our boat driver will meet you at the arranged boat stop along the Grand Canal. Your stop will be chosen as close as to your Hotel as possible. Guests are requested to present themselves at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure time.

Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs or bikes) may attract a small additional fee, payable direct to driver.
Please note, in case of fog or bad weather conditions the boat service will be diverted via Piazzale Roma by vehicle.
Infants aged 3 years and under travel free of charge. They must be seated in the lap of an adult. No child seats or baby capsules are provided.
Passengers are advised that this is a shared transfer and you may be required to wait up to 30 minutes before transferring to your water taxi and on to Venice stops

Bucintoro Viaggi Tours is a scam. No need to pre-book. You can catch a water taxi for 1/2 price, approx 60-70 euros for family of 4. We were about 10 min late for our scheduled departure at the dock. We got to the dock waited, no one to talk to, were told by other drivers sit and wait, no one came to help. We called the office, we were told to get out own transportation since we were late. No Refunds So they basically took my $147.00 for nothing. Greedy SOB's. Bucintoro SUCKS !!

I wasn't too sure about booking this transfer seeing that it was in a limited English speaking location and we needed to get from our hotel to the Cruise Port in time enough for our departure. Please note that neither my wife nor I are able to speak Italian. The alternatives didn't look to easy as it would have involved either getting on and off a ferry with our luggage then trying to find our way to the people mover to take us to the port, or, walking from our hotel, over a rather large footbridge with steps and having to take our luggage also. Neither of these options really appealed to us. I needn't have worried because it all worked out so well. As I was already in another location in Italy prior to our stay in Venice I was able to contact the provider of the transfer and actually speak with an English speaking person who allayed all our fears about pick-up points etc. and stated that we would actually be taken from the canal at the front of our hotel to the Cruise Port and that the confirmation paperwork would be at our hotel when we arrived. It was. We arranged a pick-up time near midday and went to the pier at the front of the hotel, which was located on the Grande Canal near the railway station, and waited briefly until the water taxi arrived just before the arranged time. The driver was very efficient and pleasant. He placed our luggage on board and proceeded to take us directly to the cruise port at the luggage drop-off point for our particular cruise. He also took our luggage from the water taxi up to the drop-off point. The trip took about 15 to 20 minutes in all and at no point did we feel uncomfortable or concerned about the overall transfer. We would highly recommend this form of transfer to anyone who asked.

The guy obviously did not like his job! I booked this company to take us to Venice and pick us up for a transfer to the cruise port. When I asked the operator to confirm the pick up time, I was told they would fax my hotel with the confirmation, which they did. They did pick us up at the time I requested, although a little late. Since this was a shared service, they picked up additional passengers. That I can understand. The transfer took over an hour which got us to the terminal a little later that I wanted. My problem with this operator is the staff at the counter and the boat driver are rude.

Although we were supposed to be dropped off at stop closest to our hotel we were left at a narrow dock and had to take suitcases through a back alleyway over cobblestones, up and down a small bridge to get to our hotel. Discovered that the hotel had its own dock and for the return to port we ordered a private water taxi.

They were late and we had to pay 40 Euros for a luggage porter as we didn't know they were running late. Our pick up time was 12:05 , I requested a pickup time of 12:00, but when they weren't there but 12: 17 we had to pay another 80 Euro for a private transfer so we wouldn't be late for our cruise check in. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! Extremely unorganized and unprofessional! Buy transfers when you are there, it's cheaper and you'll get what you pay for.....instead of paying for something you didn't receive!

Excellent service! The water taxi arrived right outside of our hotel, actually about 15 minutes early so not waiting! They were on time and very professional. It was a great beginning to our cruise as there were fellow passengers on the boat with us and were great fun.
