After exploring the city’s romantic streets by foot, climb aboard a traditional gondola boat for a romantic ride along the city’s famous canals. Navigated by a friendly gondolier, cruise by spectacular historic structures along the Grand Canal and float down smaller watery ways in the Fenice neighborhood. Then, step back on solid ground at the Dogana/Valaresso Station in central Venice.

Enjoy the tour very much. Traveling with my two daughters 26 and 18 and we love hearing the rich history of the city. Ending with a gondola ride was perfect. It was about 20 minutes but you don’t need more than that.

Our guide (I can’t remember his name) was so funny and witty. It was almost like a stand-up comedy mixed in with a tour. The gondola was nice, but we waited awhile for the person from our tour company to show up to the meeting pointe, after the tour had ended to get onboard the gondola.

The tour and guide were brilliant but we were then left for an hour before the gondola ride. This part of the trip did not feel organised at all.

The walking tour was great, very informative even in the pouring rain. However and due to the weather, the gondola ride was unavailable. We were told to come back following day for the gondola ride and we could choose either the 11, 12 or 1pm ride. We chose the 1pm ride and when we got to the booking office, we were told that the 1pm gondola ride slot doesn't exist ! So not happy and wouldn't book this event again via this company.

The walking aspect of the tour with Matteo (Matthew) was professional and informative. The 30 minute Gondola ride was a Gondolier shouting to his friend, another Gondolier, who he was following, throughout the 30 minutes taking us down uninteresting, derelict, graffitied buildings on the canal. Not at all impressive. Would not recommend paying for this part of the trip.

Meeting point information was incorrect which lead to us missing the walking tour. Your company on the ground in Venice did not seem to care. We managed the Gondola ride. We had a grumpy Gondilier who did not add any attraction to the experience. The gondola ride was definitely not 1/2 hour. Canals are smelly. I have requested a refund through the chat with Viator, but I’m waiting for a final reply. This is now taking too long also.

The lady who done our walking tour was very good and i formative and gave us a very good insight to the hidden Venice. However, the lady dealing with the gondola ride afterwards was not. We went to where the gondola ride was and just got in the queue as no one told us otherwise. After queuing for over 30 mins we realised other people that was on the tour with us were just waking on to the gondolas. We were then told we was in the wrong queue and had go at the back of the queue by the other lady. We was not impressed after waiting for 30 minutes so we just got on the next gondola. She then shouted at us to get off but we did not as we had already waited to get on. It needs to be explained to people what to do once the tour finishes and you go to the gondola ride. As this will happen again! Other than that we enjoyed it.
