For nearly 200 years, this distillery produced one of Ireland’s leading whiskeys, before Jameson—together with other producers—moved operations to a purpose-built facility in Middleton, County Cork, in the 1970s. Now, the Jameson Distillery Bow St. has been revamped as a visitor center showcasing the history and heritage of the brand.
The wife and I had an amazing time with John, he was early to pick us up from our hotel, he is a
wealth of knowledge, he is very easy to talk to, funny, and patient, and he did not rush us at any time. This was the very best tour/sightseeing trip we have taken, we did not have to wait in long lines we were able to get right in for our tour, and the best part is John did our whole tour at the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery!!! I suggest 100% taking this tour with John!!!
Absolutely a great experience & such a great story to go along with the tour! We really appreciated the assistance from the location after a few travel hiccups left us missing our original booking as well!
It’s starts with barley and corn and aged in used oak bourbon barrels. It’s an interesting taste.
Mr Jameson from Scotland in 1820 started something good
