Excellent tour
Suexusheng_C, Apr 2024
We had lots of fun with this tour. Everybody enjoyed the test of Guinness and Jameson whiskey. Our tour guide Roger has excellent local knowledge.
Great Tour Guide
Joe_K, Apr 2024
Roger was a great guide. He is very knowledgeable and clearly loves what he does. I highly recommend this tour
Over priced and too crowded
Thomas_B, Apr 2024
The part of the tour at Jameson was OK although this location is no longer where they distell their whiskey. The Quinness location is a mad house. Disliked that part
Excellent
Doug_W, Apr 2024
Roger was a great tour guide, efficient with a sense of humor. He knows his history, pertinent information and made the 3 1/2 hour tour fun.
Chaos
Dawn_F, Apr 2024
Guide, Roger was very informative. Group size however was WAY too big and made experience overwhelming. Jameson Ambassador was great. Would have rather have just done that tour. Walk from one to the other site with a stop at a pub was very chaotic.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent tour experience with us. We're glad to hear that you found our guide, Roger, informative and that you enjoyed the Jameson Ambassador's presentation. I think you probably take private tours as this was our regular group size. We strive to provide an enjoyable and engaging experience for all our guests, as we are dedicated to the quality of our award-winning tours. Regarding the transition between sites with a stop at a pub, we regret that it felt chaotic to you however from your tour we received 5 stars from the very same tour you participated in. We appreciate your perspective and look forward to seeing you again. Thank you again for choosing LetzGo City Tours. Best Regards,
A good experience but ….
Steve_I, Apr 2024
Overall pleased that we did this trip. Main positive was the queue jumping at both venues. However a group of 30 was too big; the guide was helpful, enthusiastic and informative but walked far too quickly resulting in our group being spread over 100 metres plus at times. The Jamesons visit was much better structured, whilst the Guinness visit was very messy.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Hi Stevem thank you for your comments. We have contacted our guide who has confirmed that at no time was there a distance of 1,000 feet between you and the guide. That's nearly 1/2 mile. Guinness is the biggest and most popular cultural highlight in Ireland and on the day you visited we had a huge sports match in Dublin, hence the Guinness Storehouse was somewhat busier than usual. Thank you for your review. Best Regards,
Great tour!
Lauren_H, Apr 2024
We had a wonderful time! Alan (with the yellow hat) was a fantastic guide, providing a lighthearted but informative tour. Would definitely recommend!
Wouldn’t Recommend
Rachael_H, Apr 2024
The group size was too large, nor do I think the description mentioned it was a walking history tour. The tour guide herself, Mary, was great, when you could hear her. The Jameson part of the tour was interesting but once you did the walk through the city you couldn’t really hear anything, and a group of 30ish people taking up a sidewalk was a hassle for other pedestrians. Guinness was an absolute mad house and the “guided” part of Guiness was pointless. IF this was a smaller tour it might be decent, but I did not particularly enjoy it.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Hi Rachel, thank you for your feedback. We are aware that on the day you participated Dublin City was hosting a huge spring event. Subsequently, the Guinness Storehouse and many other venues were very bust indeed. For this, we do apologize. We do appreciate you giving our guide a high recommendation. We do offer a private version of all our tours that offer a very intimate group setting. However, on this very same tour, we received an outstanding number of 5-star reviews for the very same experience. We look forward to seeing you on tour again.
Our tour guide was great!...
bquinn5911, Apr 2024
Our tour guide was great! Good history and points of interest shared on the walk from Jameson to Guinness Storehouse. My only compliant was the description didn't adequately describe the length of the tour. We were occupied longer than expected.
Don’t do this tour.
Elizabeth_K, Apr 2024
The Guinness tour experience was outstanding, but I would recommend skipping this tour and going on your own. Our guide was lovely - but the walking tour part between the two took forever many people in the group were just ‘let’s get on with it’. It didn’t help that we had a bunch of loud guys who just wanted to get hammered - and did - and the guide had to be jovial with them. They made it especially awful.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Hello and thank you for your review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed both our Guide and the Guinness Storehouse immensely. Unfortunately, there was a small group of gentlemen who were very excited to be in Dublin and were celebrating a little too excitedly. We would like to apologize for this sincerely and would like to confirm that this is a very rare occurrence. Best Regards,
Experiencing the History of Jameson and Guinness in Ireland
Glenn_A, Apr 2024
We enjoyed the Jameson taste testing and the informational session on the history of Jameson! Tour guide was great! Guinness was also a fun experience with a free drink overlooking Dublin! We would recommend this experience to others!
Great tour
WILLIAM_A, Apr 2024
We had a great time on our tour!! Neil McCourt was very fun, informative and personable. Would recommend to anyone
Amazing, educational and a freaking blast!
Katie_M, Apr 2024
What an amazing time! Our tour guide Alan (with the yellow hat) was nothing short of amazing. Such a great time mixed with laughs and learning. Highly recommend for groups or if you’re flying solo. Absolutely worth it!
Jameson and Guiness
Clare_c, Apr 2024
Richard was a fabulous guide. Great humour and a wealth of knowledge. Wonderful tours once at Jameson’s and Guiness and Richard’s walking tour in between the two was a terrific bonus. Good value for money
Beer and whiskey
Amber_W, Apr 2024
The tour guide Richard did a great job. This tour includes a 20 min walking tour of the city which needs to be added to the description. If you think you’ll be drinking all day this isn’t the case. You’ll have one drink at Jameson and you get a couple hours later a drink at Guiness
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Hi Amber, it appears you may not have been tour as our tour includes the fully guided official tour with including sampling followed by a wonderful signature drink. Then there is a 20-30 minute walk with a stop at the oldest Pub in Ireland. From there guests visit the Guinness Storehouse which includes samples and the BEST PINT OF GUINNESS YOU WILL EVER HAVE FROM THE MOTHERSHIP with incredible views of Dublin. Best Regards,
Great Time w/Richard
Debbie_M, Apr 2024
We had a fantastic tour of Jameson and a historic walk over the Liffy to Guinness. Richard was funny and well informed. I highly recommend this tour.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Hi Debbie, it sounds like you had an amazing time exploring Dublin with Richard! A tour of Jameson followed by a historic walk to Guinness over the Liffey sounds indeed the perfect blend of history and enjoyment especially when Richard's humor and knowledge make the experience even more memorable. Thank you for the recommendation—we hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Dublin soon!
Great experience

Dermot is a fantastic guide and made the experience enjoyable. It was a fun time, the Guiness storehouse was packed, as it was a weekend. If you can do it on a weekday, it might be better.
