After the Market, we head over to our apartment, where a selection of mouth-watering snacks, like sausages, salamis, dips, and cheeses waiting for us before we get to it! Then, it's time to roll up our sleeves and get cooking!

Combine a walking tour through Budapest with a Hungarian cooking class during this two-for-one, small-group half-day experience. First, explore the city on foot with a guide, learning about the city’s Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian history as well as its Jewish heritage. Then, head into the kitchen where you will see that history in action as you learn how to prepare traditional dishes like stuffed peppers and roast goose.

We will be tasting five craft beers from the finest Hungarian breweries such as Fehér Nyúl, Mad Scientist, Rekettye Brewing, Sima Brewing, and more. During the tasting, we will engage in discussions on various beer-related topics, including beer flavor profiles, history, gastronomy, and ultimately, you will learn how to taste beer like a professional. Moreover, we will demonstrate the delightful harmony between beer and cheese by pairing a local IPA beer with some cheese. All of our instructors have a minimum of five years of experience in the craft beer industry. We have a strong aversion to mediocre beer, and to showcase the best beers, we have partnered with the top local breweries. The beer tasting session will last approximately two hours. The session will be held at Élesztőház, a multi-tap beer bar. After the event, you can continue the fun by enjoying more beers at the venue!

We are Miklós and Dóri and both are wine lovers! I am not only a wine lover but also a wine judge and wine journalist. I am doing this since 2005. I also visited many wine countries and spent some time there such as USA (Oregon), Italy, France, Spain and Israel. I have my own wine bar and was the retail director of the second biggest wine trader company in Hungary. Dóri was born in a wine making family in Pest county and she took a main part of her family business. Wine is our passion but to see the whole picture you also have to know the winemakers.
