Hop on a lazy sail on a boat cruise, while enjoying the sun, the beaches and the UNESCO-protected lake of Ohrid. This day is all about relaxing summer vibes and is a perfect lazy experience for the whole family! The only thought in your mind, should be the choice of your next drink. The boat will directly sail towards the beach of Lubanista, according to many local people, the most beautiful beach of the lake. Enjoy a swim or work on that sun tan, while lying on the shore. Here you will relax for approximately one and a half hour. Afterwards, taste an amazing grilled BBQ lunch, which will be brought on the boat. When the bellies are loaded, you will have the chance to snorkel and jump of the boat. Before heading back, you will visit a second beach, named Gradiste, where you will relax again. On this bike tour, you will cycle around the western coast or Albanian side of Lake Ohrid. This is a medium to a hard hiking tour through the footsteps of the old merchants. The highest point in the tour is 1565 masl. The trail of the old merchants abounds with a wonderful mixture of scents, colors, and sounds. Moving along this trail, we will visit some of the most beautiful areas rich in flora and fauna, some beautiful panoramic spots, one of the few watering places for cattle, and the longest cave on the territory of the National Park Galichica- Samotska Hole.

On this tour we will visit the biggest National Park in Macedonia, Mavrovo. During our drive to the park we will drive beside river Drim and we will enjoy on a amazing views on a two artificial lakes. We will visit the St. Bigorski Monastery, a calm beautiful place where we can enjoy and even talk with some of the monks, there we will also admire on the most beautiful iconostas in the Balkans. We will explore the surrounding nature and we will visit Duff waterfall where we will have nice walk to the waterfall trough a small canyon form by the river.

The goal of this tour is to cycle around the lake of Ohrid, which is 94 km long! I encountered a dozen different idyllic (fishing) villages, ancient historical remains, and pure nature in 2 countries, North-Macedonia and Albania. On the road, many photo stops and breaks will be made, for example, in the National Park of Galicica, Lin, Pogradec, Radozda, Struga, and many more, where you will have the chance to make astonishing pictures. Your adventure starts in the city of Ohrid at 09:00, where your e-bike and gear are waiting. Bike until you reach the Albanian border and arrive in the town of Pogradec, where you will take a break and enjoy your lunch. From Pogradec, cycle back to North Macedonia. After passing the border again, you will go via Struga to the starting point in Ohrid, where your transfer will bring you back to your accommodation. 

This is an excellent opportunity to see most of the churches and attractions of the old part of Ohrid while seating relaxed on our boat. We are taking you along the old town from where you can enjoy in the best view and see most of the landmarks in the old town. In the second half of the trip we are crossing the lake to the east coast in order to pass by the ex residence of Josip Broz Titio. This villa is not open for visitors, so the only way to see it is from a boat. The cozy atmosphere on our boat will make this cruise one of a kind experience. You can stay inside on our indoor heated deck, or enjoy the views from the outdoor deck. If you want to see most of Ohrid in one hour, than this is the right option.

If you want to travel a little further from Ohrid, we will go across the border and visit Thessaloniki. You will be able to visit this magnificent city, the second-largest in Greece, after the capital, Athens. In Thessaloniki, we can visit the Roman Rotunda, the White Tower (the city’s landmark), The Church of St. Demetrius – the city’s patron, The Archaeological Museum and the Byzantine Museum.

The National Park of Pelister is the second largest of North-Macedonia and is located next to the city of Bitola. The altitude of the park is between 927 and 2,601 m. above sea-level and is filled with exquisite flora and fauna. The beauty of the landscape is by the diverse wildlife: bears, roe deer, wolves, chamois, wild boars, eagles and many more. You’ll be brought to the starting point where the jeeps will be waiting. Then you will be driven into the mountains of Pelister, where you will visit the highest mountain lake of the region. Here you have the chance to have a lunch and a short hike. This bumpy off-road adventure will lead you through various natural hems. But the most special one is definitely the mythical ‘Eyes of Pelister’. The aesthetic mountain Galica acts as a separator between the 2 lakes of Ohrid and Prespa. Due to its appeal and size, this piece of nature has been recognized as one of the natural parks of Northern Macedonia. The top of the mountain, called Magaro, has an amazing height of 2254 meters.
