During the week, more than 170 stalls sell everything from fresh meat, seafood, and fruits and vegetables, to international wines, and artisan cheeses. You can also feast on a variety of ethnic cuisines, which include Indian, Middle Eastern, and Asian. At the flea market held every Saturday, you can find vintage and antique knick knacks and clothing.

The market is located south of Vienna’s historic center. Take the metro U4 line to the Karlsplatz stop at the end of the Naschmarkt.
The Naschmarkt’s food stalls are open weekdays from early morning until late afternoon. On Saturdays, the flea market follows similar times to the food market.
Vienna’s other historic market is the Kohlmarkt (Coal Market), though gone are the days that coal is sold here. Today, this is a high-end shopping area with boutiques by brands such as Cartier, Giorgio Armani, Tiffany & Co., and Louis Vuitton. It’s famous for its fine jewelry so is a fun place to go window shopping.
