A must do on KI

Our “tour guides” were very friendly and knowledgeable. The dolphins were very playful and followed the boat as we went around the harbor. We got ample time to watch them swim and we had great views both inside the boat and on the bow. Also got to see the seals frolic, sleep and swim. Again plenty of time to enjoy them before heading back in. Would recommend this tour to anyone

Candice, our driver, made the ride fun and informative at the same time. We seem koalas, learnt about bush tucker and went on the sand dunes. Scenery was spectacular.

Hi there. While this is a lovely review I think you have left it on our business by mistake. We run Coastal Safari's on a boat or swim with Dolphins-Seals, not land-based tours and we do not have a Candice working for us. I'm sure whoever this review is for would love to receive it if you want to switch it :)

Paradise in a boat!

Seeing the dolphins throughout the tour was fantastic. The boat also felt very safe. Organizers were wonderful with their commentary as well as finding the dolphins. Seals were fewer in number and mainly sunning themselves on the rocks. The coastline is also so beautiful.

overpriced for little result

Seeing the dolphins was about all there was to the whole trip. There were no seals, which sometimes happens and despite the best efforts of the captain and Deckie, there was not much to the experience.

Thank you for taking the time to review. We understand it’s impossible to please everyone 100% of the time. Seeing wild dolphins is an amazing experience and I glad you got to experience this. Our guides provided history of the area and it’s wildlife as you cruised ancient coastline. 99.9% of guests love this. As mentioned in our booking information seal numbers are at the lowest in December. I do hope you enjoyed the remainder of Kangaroo Island for its natural beauty.

This is a fantastic way to get a closer look at the pristine waters of Kangaroo Island. We loved seeing the dolphins and watching them play and swim alongside the boat. It was a real highlight of our trip and an experience I will gladly repeat. It was so worth it. Eligah and Kimberley were fantastic hosts and very knowledgeable. They made sure everyone had a chance to see the wildlife in their natural habitat and were extremely welcomibg. I highly recomend this tour.

A very enjoyable experience, although the staff were young they were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They made an effort to locate wildlife for us to see and were successful. It would have been a nice boat ride every without the wildlife. The only downside was they didn’t have any knowledge of our booking through viator, luckily there was enough room for us anyway.

I can guarantee we don’t cancel unless the weather is poor. You may be looking at the water thinking that it’s ok, but when you get in a vessel and go past what your eyes can see and via coastal points, you would understand it gets extremely uncomfortable - and that’s why we made the decision. As a family business, we dislike giving refunds as our operation relies on customers such as yourself however we would never compromise your safety and go out on the water when conditions were less than satisfactory. You’re right - it was cancelled due to bad weather and you were provided a full refund immediately. Glad you can clarify for others that we would never operate in rough conditions! Even during peak season!

11/04/23 A delightful experience sailing around the shoreline in the hope of spotting Dolphin, Seal & 'KI penguin'. On cue, we were not disappointed. Our tour guides; such infectious demeanour, so accomadating & provided us with a very knowledgeable commentary & answers to questions. Tour ending with a little frivolity. "Thank You"
